~ Chronoguard Officer |
Chronoguard is the overarching antagnoists of RealM1NEPR0's Overwatch.
They play themselves as multiversal peacekeepers, trying to keep the multiple universes from causing problems with each other. However, behind the scenes, it's shown that they brainwash, and memory wipe their agents to prevent the truth from coming out. Recently, Venture has been exposing them from within somehow.
Biography[]
Overwatch 3 Movie[]
They somehow kidnapped Doomfist as his omnium was exploding. They were not named at this time.
Mirror, Mirror[]
They were first mentioned in Mirror, Mirror, where Officer Fawkes brought in Tracer, Ogundimu, Agent Colomar, and Operatives Amari and Lindholm to Chronoguard HQ. The boss sent then to Tracer's universe to retrieve Operative Oxton. They waited until Oxton was already weakened before apprehending her, and the boss asked her officers to calculate how much of a threat that 2 Tracers in one universe could pose.
During this time, they somehow came into possession of The Blademaster robot.
Journeys[]
2 months after Oxton, they recruited both Tracers and Mercy for a mission to a nuclear winter universe. They didn't intervene again until the Roadhog of that universe almost killed them. They also refused to allow the Moira of that universe to join Tracer's universe, but she did anyway without them noticing.
Reflections[]
The boss waited until Operative Oxton and Doomfist escaped their imprisonment and congratulated them. She then tasked them with taking down Overwatch in every universe.
The 3 Junketeers[]
Chronoguard recruited Junkrat to retrieve a cache of Vanadium from an unnamed universe. It was mentioned here that their odds were low.
Holidays[]
Chronoguard returned to Tracer's universe (now dubbed the Cinematic universe) to retrieve a defector. However, when they learned that Tracer was at the same hotel at the same time, they decided to attempt an assassination by blowing up the hotel, using Antonio Bartalotti Jr.'s Lúcioball rigging system to do so. They believed that Tracer died, but they failed.
Starwatch[]
They returned again by sending Kyle Ackard to spy on the Galactic Emperor, but he was captured. The emperor undid Chronoguard's brainwashing, and it was revealed that they were collecting Vanadium for an unknown purpose.
Meanwhile, another group constructed a dark matter-based ship to withstand the Galactic Emperor's abilities. They rammed their ship into the emperor's and retrieved his Vanadium-infused helmet.
Phantom[]
Chronoguard sent Mei, Reinhardt, and Oxton to stop Phantom in another universe, and this is the first time Venture started declassifying their activities. But the Kitsune didn't like what Chronoguard was doing, and launched a massive attack. The boss set of a simulated nuke to kill millions and wound billions, and wiped Mei and Reinhardt's memories of any hostility from Chronoguard, Mei's temporary paralysis, and the Kitsune.
Through the Looking Glass[]
Oxton recruited Juno and Lúcio from the Cinematic universe to retrieve more Vanadium from the Mirror Universe. Venture declassified that Chronoguard was pissed that the Mirror Universe's Vanadium cache was missing.
Oxton also kidnapped Tracer after Chronoguard's failed assassination, and Venture noted that Oxton was going to replace Tracer.
Revenge of the Apes[]
Chronoguard had Oxton get Overwatch out of Gibraltar in an effort to find where Tracer hid the Vanadium. They couldn't find it, according to the boss.
Corruption[]
Fawkes kidnapped Pharah and Julie for an experiment to draw Overwatch out and get them killed. It's unknown how involved Chronoguard was.
