Clad is the main antagonist of a currently untitled Clarence fanfiction by AHoit43, he is the abusive leader of the Invisible Circus, who seeks to rule all three worlds and Balance's boss.
He also is a minor posthumous antagonist in The New Con Artist.

Clad was born at an unknown time in the 18th century in the Spirit World, where as usual for the Spirits he was taught about parallel worlds, eventually he decided that Spirits but unlike the rest of his society, who only use them powers out of their world in cases of necessity, Clad used his powers to scam beings of other worlds for fun, which led him to be exiled from his world when he was found out. Clad then spent some time wandering across the borders between the Spirit World and the Human World until he accidentally discovered he had kept his powers even after being exiled.

He appears for first time after Balance's Return, revealed as the boss of Balance, who has made the plan of use Balance's powers to control the mayor until the edel storm affect the city and exploit the magic there to help him to find the clues of the ubication of the Eye of. At the end of the episode he appears throw him into a wall as punish for his failure.
After that Clad is in very panic because his minions has been discovered by people who have the possibility of fight against him; making he attemp to do a plan to fix it, before decide that has not enough time how to o a good plan, and chosse simplyget how many power as he can and try to continue his original lan before somebody Balance's actions until him, once it fails he brainwash Dan Sumozky to get more information about Clarence and his friends, discovering that they know about Kroogan, and that they have got various clues, planning to make them continue searching it and follow them, waiting that during the process they forget about him.
