The Coat Men are unseen major antagonists in Slendytubbies 3. They are a mysterious group of scientists who are responsible for the experimentation on the Best Friends Trio: Arrow Tubby, Yeti Tubby and Cave Tubby.
Their existence is evidenced via multiple notes written by an unnamed test subject prior to their presumed death after one of them turned into a monster. These notes can be found scattered around the cave, but no other information is known about them, making them enigmatic characters in the whole Slendytubbies franchise.
Appearance[]
It is unknown how the Coat Men look like, but it is possible that they are "humans" wearing coats, as their names suggest.
Personality[]
According to the notes, the Coat Men are merciless scientists who seemingly loves experimentations on individuals like the Best Friend Trio, even to the point of abusing their subjects and even give them electrical torture. Other than this, their personality is very little shown, but they seem to have some sort of connection with Unit 437, as he was one of the directives attempting to capture the trio.
Biography[]
Prior to the events of Slendytubbies 3, the Coat Men electrically tortured and even abused the Best Friends Trio, even to the point of turning them into monsters. One test subject, however, managed to write notes talking about the mysterious Coat Men, who were abusing them. It is unknown when they were written, but it is possible that they were written before the death of their writer.
If the player goes to the Mountains and speaks to Unit 437, he will reveal a possible connection with the Coat Men, as he once was initially directed to capture his master, Yeti Tubby, for them, before deciding to serve him instead due to how strong he was for him.
Trivia[]
- The fact they are referred as "men" may possibly imply that they might be humans, despite the human race being presumably extinct, as evidenced with the relevance of the Ghost Girl, according to a common theory.
