Colonel Jonathan "John" Windsor is a major antagonist in the the sequel series The Dream Zone: Legends of Demor. He serves as a minor antagonist in the Revival Arc and the overall secondary antagonist in the War Saga, and a posthumous antagonist in subsequent arcs.
He is a member of the Royal House of Windsor, and nephew of the late Aaron Windsor. He also holds the title of Colonel in the National Demorian Military, and with that rank helmed a scientific endeavor to create a legion of super soilders. John used this legion, known as the Cleris Brotherhood, and sent them to carry out multiple political assassinations within the Demorian Government so he could faster climb the ranks and restore the glory of House Windsor.
Appearance[]
John is a man of average height and below average build. He has white skin and a partial beard that covers the bottom portion of his face except his chin. He also has spiky platinum blond hair that could be mistaken for pure white, similar to Aaron Windsor.
He sports a long military coat that displays his Coreadium Heart and other honorary medals. He wears a dark undercoat that sports multiple other medals and an indicator for his military rank, and is also adorned with two cords. He wears similar color pants and dress shoes. He also wears black gloves in most appearances.
Personality[]
John Windsor is a sadistic, composed, pompous, and power-hungry individual, holding one of the most prestigious ranks in the Demorian military. Much like his uncle, he is willing to trample any and everyone in the way of his goals and path, clawing his way to higher ranks in the military. He treats his peers as disposable objects, and the Cleris Brotherhood, his own creation, even more cruelly. He has no qualms with ending lives, due to his sadism and military battlefield experience, seeing many of his comrades die in battle and killing his enemies.
Because of his rich and aristocratic upbringing, his time in House Windsor served to his worldview of viewing others as disposable, and was most influenced by Aaron Windsor as a child. Though he did not inherit Windsor's xenophobia and outright racism, he did inherit the drive to claw his way to the top, no matter the means. He feels further motivated to do so to reclaim whatever "honor" he feels the House lost as being nothing more than a ceremonial piece of what was once the Demorian Monarchy.
Overall, John Windsor may not have inherited all of his uncle's traits, but seems to have inherited the worst of the House, using his status and rank to constantly abuse others under him and committed atrocities gladly in Demor's name. All of this, so that he can restore status and respect not just for his family, but more importantly him.
