Colonel Rixon (real name Rixonus Armadano Laputa) is the main antagonist of the 2021 live action fanfilm reboot Laputa. He is a ruthless military commander working for The Supreme Military Force, and he is secretly also the former heir to Laputa's throne and also the son of the last rulers of Laputa. He is also Sheeta's distant cousin and Pazu's archenemy.
He is based on Muska from the original storyline and he is portrayed by Alan Rickman.
History[]
Background[]
Born as Rixonus Armando Laputa, he was the first in line to the throne. However, due to his evil nature and ambitions to have Laputa for himself and either corrupt it or destroy it, the family decided to dethrone him and make Sheeta the heir to the throne instead. Angered from his family, Rixonus changed his name to Rixon and plotted revenge as he started a new life and he served The Supreme Military Force just so he could seize opportunities and reclaim Laputa.
Attempting to reclaim Laputa[]
Many years later, Colonel Rixon kidnapped Sheeta and took her on his pirate ship. However, she was rescued by Pazu and his helper Fernando Rossa, who was a notorious pirate king. As Rossa attacked one of the soldiers who watched over the ship's interiors, Pazu sneaked into Sheeta's room while Rixon was not there and he pushed Sheeta out of the window, thus rescuing the captive princess of Laputa.
However, she did not know yet that Pazu was the one to rescue her. Pazu later came back to the town in which he lives and fell in love with Sheeta. However, Colonel Rixon sent his thug Paulo Seza to find and kidnap Sheeta so he could use her magical powers by forcing her to use them so he could finally reclaim Laputa and rule it by himself. Paulo eventually succeeded with their plans and he delivered Sheeta to Rixon. The brutal military commander then spoke to his coworker in the same military unit Admiral Fazuk. Fazuk questioned him about his plans but Rixon reminded him that they shall gain more power and riches than anyone else in the universe. Colonel Rixon had then revealed his identity to Sheeta and told her that he will show her something special. He drove on a spaceship and forced her to direct him so he can get to Laputa. They eventually arrive at Laputa, and Rixon allows Fazuk and his soldiers to steal the riches and also orders all of them to help him conquer Laputa by corrupting and reshaping it. He then enters a room with Sheeta who is held by two guards. Rixon then reveals to Sheeta his motives to reclaim Laputa and also explains to her and reveals that he is her distant cousin and the rightful ruler of Laputa since he was the exiled son of Laputa's former rulers, who were his parents.
Downfall[]
Eventually, Rixon betrays Admiral Fazuk by showing himself on a hologram and ordering one of his men to kill the admiral. His soldiers then kidnap Pazu and bring him to a cave in which Rixon awaits together with his captive princess Sheeta. Sheeta was happy to see that Pazu came back for her, but as soon as Rixon shot him, she started crying. Pazu almost died, but the love activated her ultimate magic and this revived Pazu and it also blasted the area, thus causing the cruel Colonel Rixon to loose his balance and fall into a fiery pit of doom.
Personality[]
He was nothing more than a very ambitious and ruthless warlord who wanted to take over Laputa and the world itself at all costs, even if it means he had to destroy Laputa completely by killing most (if not all) of it's inhabitats and possibly reshaping it afterwards. He was a sadistic tyrant who enjoyed hurting others, as he seemed to have fun when he tortured Sheeta and he shot Pazu with no remorse just before he paid for all of his massive crimes.
