Vergomoth Devouring Death

Complete Monsters (also known as Pure Evil or Devils in Person) are the most evil and worst type of villains. These are villains who are Pure Evil. For this kind of villain, doing evil for them is as natural as breathing. These villains must have no redeeming qualities, commit atrocious actions, and show no regret for their crimes. There are certain qualifications for whether or not a character is a Complete Monster or not. They are the following:

1. They are the most heinous characters in their respective setting. In order for a villain to be a CM, they have to be able to stand out from the crowd of other villains. They must also pass the relative heinous standard, which is already high. For example, Disney and Pokemon have low standards, so it makes it possible for a villain to be a CM there. In a series like Berserk, however, the heinous standard is incredibly high. If a series is too dark to have any standout villains, then it's possible that you just won't have this trope there. For example, say that you had a team of anti-heroes who commit acts of violence on the general populace, while they battle the bad guys. It would be very hard to have a CM there, because the anti-heroes are either just as bad as the threats that they're facing, or they're probably even worse. If the show isn't dark enough to have a CM in it (i. e. MLP: FiM), then it would be very impossible to have a CM there. This is why most children's shows don't have examples in them, because the writers are disallowed or unwilling to make them go above kid-friendly villainy. So, all in all, the villain must be one of, if not THE most heinous individual in their respective setting, as well as passing the relative heinous standard.

2. They must not have redeeming qualities. A complete monster is an irredeemable villain and as such, they are never able to redeem themselves. It is possible for a villain to have some redeeming qualities at the start and then shed them later on. They are also not tragic. An example would include Spongebob; at first, he did have some redeeming qualities and was a heroic figure, but as time went on, he lost his redeeming qualities and became even worse. He also lost any excuse for his actions.

3. They must have character. A serial killer or a demon aren't automatically monsters. They actually need to have a personality and a motivation for why they do what they do. Satan himself is a varied character. Satan is traditionally seen as being only able to commit heinous crimes because it depended on how much God permitted it. An evil overlord also isn't an automatic CM unless they do something that sends them above a typical evil overlord such as committing gruesome experiments on their subjects, or committing countless genocides. There's also moral agency to be considered meaning if the villain can even comprehend what they're doing as being wrong. Demons are typically considered as being Made of Evil meaning that they really can't be anything other than evil. Most supercomputers also fall under the moral agency test. Animals are typically not CMs unless they are given sapience. A CM is also not to be confused with a character that is generally hated. Usually if a villain crosses the line once, they aren't automatic CMs. It just means that they're irredeemable.

4. They are always played seriously. Comedic villains hardly ever qualify unless on a few rare occasions. Their comedic nature has to go hand-in-hand with their villainy. They need to be consistent.

5. No groups. Entire groups can't qualify as Complete Monsters because a group do not have moral agency. Only individuals have moral agency and the individual capability to stand out. Groups like organizations, families, cults and entire species, for example, cannot be considered Complete Monsters. However, certain single individuals within a group, or Partners in Crime can still qualify.

6. The villain needs to come from a legitimate story that anyone can read. Villains from unpublished works cannot quality, there needs to be a way for us to verify the contents of the story. "Wiki Pages" can only qualify as a work if they’re formatted like a fictional story (e.g NES Godzilla Creepypasta).

NOTE: This page is used to inform viewers on what makes these villains qualify as Complete Monsters. Be sure to leave your reasons why the villains qualify before you publish why.

Notable Examples[]

  • Across the darkest side of the omniverse, Nekrozoth will always remain as a monstrous tyrannical omnicidal dark-lord across creation.
  • Xuriah D'arcmast'r AKA Xyras Xolgin is an egotistical tyrant with a god complex, ruling the Omni-Confederacy with an iron fist. Once a living organism design to be both a weapon and protector of the multiverse, Xuriah is consumed by his own ego and lust for power led him to destroy his creators and go on a campaign of slaughter and conquest across the omniverse. He would create the monstrous Herr Zaal to wipe out the Enhancer race, whom he himself is a part of, simply because he is offended by their existence. Xuriah would later enslave countless aliens and put them to harsh cruelty and labor, as he steals their technology and weapons to further his personal hegemony. Enabling the serial killer Phlesh so he could perform twisted experiments: Destroying and terraforming planets; and devouring enemies and soldiers alike: Once leading an army of demons in an attempt to bring Hell on Earth and destroy a whole dimension to spite Master Mueller and the heroes for imprisoning. In one of his more atrocious deeds, he teams up with Ravagus in their attempts to annihilate most of existence and rule what's left with a horde of Leviathans. Not even contempt with already vicious career, Xuriah attempts to one-up Nekrozoth in the evil business and become the new ruler of evil just to satiate his psychopathic ego. Xuriah is a genocidal madman, willing to do anything for the sake of his personal glory and delusions of godhood.
  • Vergomoth: Vergomoth, more famously known as The Velvet King is the god of light, flesh and creation, despite at first displaying various redeeming qualities, Vergomoth would go on to subvert said qualities in his quest to power and hegemony, Vergomoth would instigate multiple wars over billions of eons, and would absorb and erase Death from existence to set up his system and destroy the cycle of life and death, to instead replace it with only life. He has invaded the misty skies planet, not caring about the damage he would cause and even though Y'golonac would surrender to him, Vergomoth would still put his mind into a paralysis like mental state, though he would eventually take him out of this and ally with him, it would be only for pragmatic reasons. Vergomoth would be willing to entirely absorb the far realms and eventually train himself and unlock his true potential for power, and upon this would begin his conquest, he would wage a long lasting war with Nyarlathotep and Death, and during this time would not only destory planets, but he would use his ability to warp reality to destroy an entire galaxy clusters, causing googolplexes of people to be erased from existence to defeat death, and would continue fighting with Nyarlathotep until an eventual peace treaty, where he would create the Fleshverse, a multiverse without death, and while would become a good leader it would be only for pragmatic reasons. He would found the Court of Vergomoth with his allies, including Yaldabaoth whom'st he had created to undermine Death and serve as his rival. After the founding of his court, he would go on to change multiple events in history and create cults and expand his influnece, most famously ordering and threatening cannibalism and ordering the slaughter of the Cthulhu Cult. Overall, Vergomoth whilst having several Debated Validations is a great example of a Complete Monster
  • Red (Godzilla NES): TBA
  • Master Onslaught; Martin Pierce, known by others as the Infamous Master Onslaught (Later renamed to Mastrion), was a serial killer who was a former member of the Pandora Foundation. Being obsessed with making a perfect being to prove to God that he is the superior creator, decided to murder his own family, including his 8-year old daughter, as an attempt to further his own evil experiments. One of his first creations was a twisted mix of a human (whom he kidnapped and killed) and a horse. Instead of killing the man who was horrified of his new body he brainwashed him to massacre the facility so he could avoid being exposed to his horrific actions. To save his own skin, he decided to become the evil avatar of Grandmaster Chaos and commit as many atrocities to get to his goals which includes: Having a long history of making several species go extinct; Creating plagues, parasites and diseases to torture his victims; Body-jacking anyone he is fond of so he could be immortal; Even resurrecting his two children as organic robot killing machines, and often erase their memories if they remember their true origins. Once he learned of Jack Spark, he tried several times to have him so he could steal his body and harness his powers. Even attempted to eliminate his daughter once and for all after her betrayal. Master Onslaught proves that despite his claims to doing his horrific actions for science, he is only a destructive egotist and a psychopathic megalomaniac.
  • Xorin; Xorin is the evil counterpart of Grandmaster Purest and the being responsible for Nekrozoth’s rise to power. Prior to the creation of the Omniverse, Xorin killed off the species he and Purest originated from making them the last of their kind. He later convinced the Leviathans to rebel against their creator which caused a war that caused the lives of both sides and several innocents. After being banished from creation along with the Leviathans, Xorin manipulated the Leviathans to devour the entire omniverse so they could be powerful enough to seize control of everything in existence. Once Moxxus objects to this idea, Xorin cursed him with eternal hunger as punishment for questioning his authority. Over the years, he orchestrated many infamous atrocities for his entertainment through the use of other villains. Heinous deeds stemming from the mass slaughter of the Sparxians (Through Nekrozoth); The Stellar Wars (through Vekkisul); And most importantly Nekrozoth’s reign of terror which resulted to many galaxies and universes to dissolve into madness and death. Upon returning to reality, Xorin removed the oxygen around him to suffocate the Reality Guards to death once they attempted to stop him. Later on, he made the worst nightmares imaginable into reality to wreak havoc across the omniverse. While entering Jack Spark’s dream, he taunted the young hero and gave him a scar on his mouth as a “gift”. Then to fulfill a ancient prophecy of the oncoming cataclysmic “Ragnarok Wars'', Xorin resurrected Nekrozoth and used him as his Champion of Chaos and destroyed countless universes that forced both heroes and villains alike to join forces to stop them. His mission is to kill Death so the Leviathans could endlessly torture the mortals and cosmic beings or save them as cattle to constantly feed on. A prideful, vindictive entity capable of thinking and understanding how morality works, Xorin lives true to his title as “The Sower of Chaos” and takes pride in the destruction he brings.
  • Wrecker: Wrecker is a sadistic Enderman captain who enjoys killing humans. Unlike the other Endermen who only kill people because they were ordered to by the Endermaster, Wrecker kills people because he believes that taking the lives of others increases your value as a being and allows you to keep those you killed as slaves in the afterlife. During the plundering of a destroyed human city, Wrecker gets the idea to allow Endreai to die so he can take his place, only stopping so he do a "more interesting" idea: Taking the Rebel Leader's wife and young son as hostages and threatening to kill them if the leader draws his weapon on Wrecker. When the Rebel Leader drops his weapon, Wrecker kills them anyway, and leaves the leader himself alive so he can enjoy his enemy's sorrow. Hunting down more humans, Wrecker pursues the heroes, and when they steal an Enderman boat, he followed them and attempted to slowly kill Red. Wrecker's evil reaches its peak after he is promoted to general, where he leads an attack on Rebel Island that his master did not order. During this attack, nearly all the inhabitants are slaughtered, including one man who Wrecker stole the Flint and Steel of and then burned alive. He also kills one of his own soldiers for refusing to give him his weapon. Upon finding the Rebel Leader again, he reminds the leader of his dead family and delights in the prospect of "completing the collection", slowly killing the leader while trying to instill hatred in him.
  • The Invader (Invader: The Series): A dark and mysterious criminal who has never been shown or described as having anything positive in him. Ever since The Invader begins to threaten Pedro Rezende and his mates living with him in their new house, The Invader begins his reign of terror by property damage, death threats and putting the dwellers in harm's way, even threatening the cop Cadet Rpdrigues, who is helping Pedro in solving The Invader case. The Invader even gets some help of his henchmen along the way, Virgínia, Stella, the pixador, his fourth helper and Ace; out of the five henchmen he gets, three of them die and two out of these three get killed spitefully by the own Invader, being Virgínia and Ace; Virgínia for letting the walk-talk be discovered by Rezende and Ace for handing a poison he made to the wrong person. The Invader keeps provoking Rezende and blaming him for what happened in his life but, even when Rezende insists in asking what it was, he denies to spill the beans. He kidnapps and attempts to kill, in cold blood, Rezende's adoptive brother who was just 15, bringing about a fight between him and Rezende. Later, he spitefully kidnaps and keeps Adriano hostage for a long time, leaving Rezende concerned. Although he frees him, it was all another plot to trick Rezende into poisoning him and killing him for good, which fails. He happens to cross his definitive Moral Event Horizon when he lures Rodrigues to a fight and plays dead after being shot, just to lure him to his body and stab him with his knife soaked in poison and sadistically watching Rodrigues slowly agonize to death. The Invader also has the desire to make his brother Rezende like him by trying to make him kill someone or even making him kill The Invader himself, and, although Rezende resists his temptation of killing The Invader in revenge for his deeds, The Invader gets his karmic and well deserved death by jumping on Rezende while he was picking up the knife and knocking them both out. When Rezende wakes up the next rainy morning, he realizes the knife had stabbed The Invader accidentally and he was finally dead. However, the very last scene of the series implies The Invader actually survived the stab and had reunited a group of criminals to attack Rezende again, but whether the masked figure is The Invader or not, further details remain unknown so far.
  • Ringmaster: A malicious robotic network mast system which controls the animatronics in Clownbert's. Originally programmed in the Ringmaster V1 animatronic in 1956, the moment he gained sentience, he attacked and killed most of the people at the Crazy Circus Fast-Food Theater until he was neutralized by a worker, resulting in the restaurant being closed down. Years later, most of his code was salvaged by Quentin Hart to program the Robotic_Network-Mast.r for the Clownbert's fast-food restaurant, allowing him to gain full sentience. Though he initially kept himself secret to the workers, he crossed the moral event horizon when he first hijacked the Edgar the Elephant animatronic and used to crush a child to death in front horrified customers, resulting in Edgar being decommissioned. Over the years, he used his hijacked animatronics to sadistically kill every nightguards at the restaurant. In 2019, he first managed to form a full body and used it to kill Quentin at his headquarters, before trying to kill Graham Miller with the animatronics. After Graham revealed Ringmaster's crimes, Clownbert's closed down and all of the animatronics were moved to Circus Entertainment's official warehouse, where the other animatronics were left to fall into disrepair. Three years later, when newly-hired employee Matt Foster came to work at the warehouse, Ringmaster once again took control of the animatronics to kill him, also creating the Raider animatronic to help him, before confronting him personally, resulting in the warehouse collapsing and most of the animatronics being destroyed, while Ringmaster would escape and return to the Crazy Circus Theater. A year later, Matt's twin sister Lily, a journalist, would investigate the theater and encounter the V1 animatronics, once again controlled by Ringmaster with the intent to kill, and Ringmaster himself, who was planning to spread himself across the internet so he can control every animatronic worldwide to kill every human and take over Earth. Despite being deleted by Lily, most of his data is recovered and latches onto a new robotic network mast made for the newly-opened Clownbert's Deluxe, where he use the Neo animatronics to kill night-guards, technicians and even customers at the restaurant, before once again meeting Graham. Over the next few nights, Ringmaster would experiment on the remnant from his human victims and break apart and melt down all of the Neo animatronics, before using the remnant to fuse the animatronic parts with him and the preserved corpse of Quentin Hart and form a new body so he could face off against Graham on the last night.
  • Exitium: A demonic being who exists in the Undertale Multiverse, going to multiple universes and stealing people's souls and monsters' magic to become more powerful. He wants to destroy the entire multiverse and recreate it in his own sick image.
  • Zero: Zero stands out in sharp contrast to his canon counterpart who lacks much characterization. The king of the Dark Matter race, he has reduced them to simply being extensions of himself because he despises the idea of them having free will. This hatred of freedom is what drives him to command his Dark Matters to kill Gooey, a child among them who has free will. Upon discovering that Gooey was spared, Zero orders Dark Matter Blade to not only kill Gooey, but also to annihilate all life on Pop Star, which he plans on watching for his own amusement. When this fails and Dark Matter is defeated, Zero painfully gives him emotions so that he will die in pain.
  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Despite seeming like an innocent, happy-go-lucky inhabitant of the sea, SpongeBob hides his true narcissistic nature all throughout the story as he plots the downfall of Bikini Bottom and its two fast-food empires, as when he finds out that Krabby Patty meat is actually made of meat from a clone of Patrick Star, he deliberately undercooks a patty that he makes exclusively for his best friend and allows Patrick's memories to meld with his clone's, driving him mad and causing him to go on a mass killing spree all throughout Bikini Bottom. SpongeBob allows himself to be eaten by Patrick to help publicly solidify his innocence and non-involvement in the incident when he brings himself back to life later on by regenerating from sponge cells that the sloppily-eating clones leave all over themselves. Then he makes himself look like a hero in front of every survivor in the town after converting to his monster form, Porifera, and throwing the Tortured One into a crack in the earth made by Barnacle Boy after he sacrificed himself to make it. He then opens up his own restaurant and becomes the leader of all that's left of Bikini Bottom, getting away scot-free with his crimes and to fully reveal how little he cared about anyone and everyone he negatively affected or even outright killed with his actions.
  • Freddy Fazbear was a normal animatronic that gained sentience, along with his pals. However, feeling used by mankind, he would accidentially murder a guard, but gain a sick sadistic kick out of it, which would cause him to force his animatronic pals to go on a killing spree. While "tame" at first, he would meet Michael and start getting obsessed with killing him. Eventually, Freddy would drop any sort of care he had for the others and start tormenting them as well. All throughout this, he kept up a fake guise to the children and parents of the day. By the final book, Freddy has lost any sanity remaining and even kills a young child with his sister watching. Suddenly, Michael returns and he and Freddy standoff. The fight doesn't last for long as the pizzeria is burned by Henry Emily, sealing Freddy and co.'s fate. Freddy attempts to escape, only to be grabbed at by Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy and dragged back into the flames then finished off by Nightmare, gaining the death he deserved.
  • Dr. Henry Miller is a dangerous serial killer and mad scientist who killed numerous kids in his own circus and pizzeria and put their souls into machines in the hope of having a soul helping him to pass the barrier that divides the living world from the afterlife. Henry manipulates his own "partner" William Afton into helping him, only to then arrange his horrible fate in a suit, conducting horrible experiments on him when William comes back from the dead, and causing a multitude of deaths throughout the Freddy Fazbender locations, eventually damning numerous souls and causing more destruction. In the "Evil Route", Henry possesses Jack after the latter kills William, intending to continue his killing spree.
  • Heinrich Himmler, Reichsführer of the SS, is the tyrant over Burgundy and creator of the "Burgundian System" of Nazism. During the Second World War, he orchestrated the Holocaust and killed over six million civilians in an act of genocide. He considered the Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany to be too moderate, and spent the 1950s and early 1960s trying to overthrow him. When that failed, Himmler changed his plan to instigating a worldwide nuclear war that will purge the world of all non-Aryans. He rules Burgundy with a horrifically oppresive iron fist, subjecting even Aryan Germans to the slavelike conditions that might be found in a Nazi concentration camp, and being far worse to the "undesirables." He enslaves the French and Belgian populations of Burgundy and works them to death while slaughtering anyone who teaches the French language, aiming to create a new, artificial culture of totalitarianism. To push the world further towards nuclear armageddon, Himmler develops Burgundy's nuclear capabilities, prolong the South African War, and generally promote conflict all over the planet.
