Contagion is an opportunistic criminal and terrorist-for-hire who has gone up against numerous heroes such as Freedom-Striker, Liberator, Jane Causeway and Blade-Master.
History[]
The man who would become known as Contagion grew up in a distant land where war often forced his people to move to dangerous areas and he learned from an early age that people could be cruel - this was especially apparent when his superhuman abilities surfaced and he found himself shunned by family and friends.
This would ultimately climax in him being chased from a camp by a gang of thugs who pelted him with rocks and the incident would forever stay in his mind - making him hateful of the world and thus he turned to crime not only as a means of survival but to let out years of frustration and anger at the injustices he had endured.
This life of violence would soon lead Contagion to grow dangerous and he began to hire himself out as a terrorist to any organization that was willing to pay him, caring little for the actual politics or the thousands of lives he put at risk.
Indeed when Freedom-Striker tried to inflict psychological warfare on Contagion by saying that his actions would cause many children to suffer just as he had done as a refugee of war Contagion could only reply with "good".
Powers / Abilities[]
Contagion's skin is coated in foul-smelling sweat and grease that sticks to victims and has acidic-properties when applied to bare flesh, the smell causes sickness and disorientation and is virtually impossible to wash off (lasting up to 2 hours) - his suit is specifically designed to soak up this sweat and grease so as to more easily apply it to victims.
