Cookie Monster (real name Sid) was one of the main protagonists of Sesame Street and a supporting antagonist in FNF: Broken Strings. Serving as one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Oscar) in the songs Playtime's End and Tantrum, as well as the main antagonist of the song Sweet Tooth.
He was once a blue monster who loved eating cookies (hence the name Cookie Monster) and was friends with Elmo, Big Bird, Oscar, Abby, Zoe, Ernie, Bert, Grover and so on. He even worked with his best friend Gonger on the Foodie Truck. However he became a victim of The Darkness after eating an affected cookie.

Background[]
While wondering around Sesame Street, Cookie Monster finds a cookie on the ground and eats it, not knowing that it was affected by The Darkness, which leads to him becoming corrupted. He then goes after Oscar and Slimey and kills the two. He then goes after Gonger (who was hiding in the Foodie Truck) and ends up corrupting him. He also killed a bunch of children from a nursery due to seeing them as cookies instead of actual children.
Playtime's End[]
He, Elmo and Oscar come across Big Bird and Snuffy, and they then all break into song. Snuffy would then then corrupted by Elmo and Ernie and Bert show up to help Big Bird.
Tantrum[]
Cookie Monster reappears in this song with Elmo and Oscar facing off against Big Bird, Ernie and Bert. After Ernie and Bert narrowly escape becoming victims of Elmo's terror, Big Bird becomes ensnared and tells the duo to go on without him. Cookie Monster later leaves Elmo to deal with Big Bird.

Mr. Johnson and Gonger come across Cookie Monster eating Mike's corpse. He then turns around and faces off against them. At one point, Mr. Johnson starts shooting Cookie Monster when he was about to attack him and Gonger. Afterwards Cookie Monster starts singing how his hunger goes on and that the taste of heaven and light is all that keeps his sweet tooth alive. A bit later and Cookie Monster starts to break free due to Gonger finding a real cookie, and then finally, he breaks free. And thus puts an end to his corrupted self.

- It has been confirmed that Cookie Monster has killed a bunch of children from a nursery due to seeing them as cookies.
- In a poll that Cookie Monster won a teaser was shown of him being killed off. This however was made to "throw people off", so he's still alive with a possibility of him being freed in Sweet Tooth.
- This was later proven to be true as Cookie Monster is saved by Mr. Johnson and Gonger in said song.
