Michael Afton, also known as Corbin Ryeburn better known by his facade surname, Mr. Ryeburn is the main antagonist of GTAGAMER222’s Baldi’s Basics series.
He is the son of William Afton who is alternately the remorseful serial killer, the eldest of his siblings who is also Billy Micah’s murderous cousin and partner who was hired at the Baldi’s Schoolhouse to sub for Baldi for hint for Principal of the Things was going to bring back Baldi from the dead and is also manipulator/arch-nemesis of Principal of the Things to antagonize him and also is the murderor/2nd arch-nemesis of the main character Jeremy Fitzgerald.
In Baldi’s Cemetery, He was voiced by Jericho Fortune/the titular YouTuber GTAGAMER222 who voiced various of characters, and the rest he was voiced by Marvvacito Wilson.
Personality[]
Corbin Ryeburn at first was neutral and intelligent when he was the sub for Baldi but revealed his true nature from the fight in Baldi’s Cemetery.
Corbin Ryeburn is treasonous, rude, disrespectful, purely evil and a murderer from his uncle Baldi abandoning his cousin Bill in the past.
History[]
Corbin was hired as the substitute teacher and reveals he was married to his sister Melissa once he was subbing as the teacher and says that Baldi was on vacation but died at the lockdown with Jeremy inferring and tells everyone he was married to his sister in Alabama and makes him incest. When Jeremy and Playtime were fighting in the hallways he stops the fight and asks what happening but eventually, Corbin bangs on the locker in a criticized way and berates at them by sending both of them to the principal’s office and demands everyone to go back to their classes. He was never again seen after that.
When Principal of the Things is dreaming about him and Baldi 10 days before lockdown while was unconscious. Baldi says “it’s time to get um” and repeats it, until the dream vanishes revealing Corbin has kidnapped Principal of the Things in his warehouse and tied him up to the chair. Principal asks why is he tied up, Corbin truths that Arts and Crafts told him he was going to revive Baldi and he reveals the school shooter Billy Micah, was his cousin and he tells him that Billy told Corbin to get a job at Baldi’s Schoolhouse that he knew he was going to revive Baldi and replies to Principal to think if he lets him revive Baldi from abandoning Bill for all these years and calls Corbin a psychopath, but replies that he is the psychopath to find Baldi alive, making him yell at him for having a cousin who caused a school shooting at Baldi’s Schoolhouse and almost trying to kill everyone and slaps him by telling him to shut up and says Billy is the greatest cousin and introduces him as they both laugh at him and Corbin gave an idea to manipulate Principal to kill Jeremy, by commanding Malhare to flip the zapping switch on Principal he begs to not be zapped, until Malhare flips the switch making Principal get zapped in huge pain, after Malhare stops the switch. Corbin gives him a choice if he wants to kill Jeremy, making Principal accept the deal. While Corbin says he has to wait around September to kill Jeremy, since Filename2 cancelled school for the month and prepares him for the deal.
Corbin is seen appreciating Principal of the Things job from yelling at Jeremy, foreshadowing his plan in the video. Later in class when the students argue he tells them to shut up to not have any negative attitudes in class for once, once Adam interferes with him by roasting him saying he is married to his family members which is his sister Melissa while all the class gets a load from the roast from Adam making Corbin run up to him and slap him as child abuse, until the announcement speaker goes on from Chloe, when Bully replies where’s Jeremy, Corbin and playtime make a death joke by saying he is probably dead. When everyone is at the cafeteria he asks Chloe for the information what she said. Corbin says Jeremy’s name for him to come for a second he makes a wicked grin behind him. When they are in the schoolhouse which is very dark and Corbin says Principal of the Things has to talk to him for some stuff, but for a moment Corbin stabs Jeremy in his chest revealing his true nature which also reflects the face of William Afton/Purple Guy making him run away where the doors are locked in the schoolhouse Jeremy runs up to Principal of the Things and tells him that Corbin stabbed him but Principal of the Things betrays him by having enough of his lies, while Corbin tells Jeremy he basically forced Principal to kill him, after Corbin tells him to shut up he stabs Jeremy in the eye with his machete and pulls it out.
When Billy encounters with him by telling him that’s enough since Jeremy is already dieing while Corbin asks what’s Billy doing here where he replies he found the soul of Baldi and Corbin gives Principal the gun to finish Jeremy as it works, while Gabriel is causing revenge and sworn to Corbin for killing Jeremy.
