The Forest King (also known as "Coronation Day Peach" or "Princess Peach", or just "Peach") is the main antagonist of MUGENWarrior's Coronation Day Scratch/TurboWarp animation based on the Super Mario World ROM Hack of the same name. He is a spirit inhabiting a forest in Dinosaur World, being awakened when Mario and Princess Peach trespassed into his forest. Angered by their arrival and seeing Peach as a perfect vessel, he killed the princess and used her to kill her savior.
Biography[]
After defeating the evil Bowser and banishing him from the Mushroom Kingdom, Mario and Princess Peach decided to go to Dinosaur World for vacation. When they arrived, they moved into a forest and build a treehouse for shelter. However, unbeknownst to them, a spirit lived inside the forest and he was angry at them for trespassing. The Forest King made a plan to make them pay, and waited for them to be at their most vulnerable.
One day, Princess Peach was out for a walk through the lovely forest, but as she walked, her surroundings became darker and darker until she saw blood on the ground. Worried about what was happening, she decided to investigate further. Unfortunately, this would lead to her demise, as she would eventually be lured into complete darkness before being slowly and painfully mutilated and possessed by the Forest King.
Later that day, Mario decided to look for Peach, since she didn't return back to the treehouse after a while. After a long walk, he found a faceless Peach who run away further into the forest. Mario followed after the princess, but his surroundings became darker, and eventually, he came across piles of bones covered to flesh and blood. It looked like the work of a wild animal. Scared and determined to find Peach, Mario investigated further and further before something flew past him, scaring him and making him fall in the ground. The plumber continued walking through the dark forest as it rained with thunder striking in the background. Mario eventually found a Rex approaching him. The creature looked zombified. It didn't last long, as a creature swooped in and struck it down, catching Mario off-guard again. However, Mario still got up and continued his journey into the forest. Finally having enough, the creature revealed himself to Mario, as he pursued him, showing off his vessel as Peach while swooping in and creating Peach heads, attempting to kill Mario. Fortunately, the plumber managed to avoid the spirit and the Peach heads.
After he was traumatized by what he just witnessed, Mario was thrown into a dark void with epileptic flashing lights in the background. He walked through the abyss for a while before everything went dark. Shortly after, Mario was teleported by in the forest. Unfortunately, his fate was soon sealed, as he was caught and mutilated by the Forest King offscreen before his corpse was thrown into a nearby river, with his blood causing the water to turn red.
After the animation fades out, Luigi could be heard calling Mario's name, meaning he entered the forest.

- MUGENWarrior didn't know much about the Coronation Day ROM hack while making the project.
- This is the third version of Princess Peach to appear in the MUGENWarrior Multiverse, with the first two versions being I HATE YOU Peach and CoolRash Peach.
- Unlike the original version of Coronation Day Peach, this version has wings.
- MUGENWarrior added the wings because he thought that Coronation Day Peach looked cool with wings.
