Corrupted Girlfriend is the deuteragonist of Friday Night Funkin' Corruption and the upcoming opponent for her own week.
Appearence[]
This variation of Girlfriend has her head nearly immobile in the current version of Corruption. She possesses' the same characteristics compared to Boyfriend, except she's given eyelashes as well as slightly larger pupils that stare at the player. She also appears to be sitting on the speakers as they appear in Week 5 And her head looks like the head decoration from Week 5.
In the Delete week, she is normal at first, but later in the 2nd half of the song, she becomes completely static, and this includes the speaker. Her face is covered by a black box, and she twitches to the beat of the song, like the other weeks, but it is more exaggerated. In Dead Pixel and Treacherous Thorns, she becomes darker in tone. She is completely gone in Roots and is never seen until the end of MEMORY//LEAK, then proceeding to become the antagonist of the Girlfriend week.
In her own week, she is now much more detailed, now having outlines, bloody claws and hair. She also have red strings wrapped around her legs, similar to how her parents are corrupted. Her speakers no longer have Christmas lights wrapped around it, instead, small smudges of corruption are marked on her speakers. Halfway in Allure, her speakers now sport some spider-like legs. Near the end of Estranged, behind her, she has a black angel figure and at the end of the song she fuses with it's unknown how she looks like in this form. In Yandere Attack she is seen floating with different animations when she sings from Allure and Estranged.
History[]
At some point, Girlfriend got infected by something that turned her into a dangerous monster which she then infects Boyfriend with.
After Boyfriend's Corruption, the two set off to corrupt the world starting with Pico who makes a valiant effort to fight them, even almost breaking them free. The corruption proves to powerful though and Pico is soon corrupted as while.
Afterward, They makes their way to Skid and Pump. Pump is instantly overtaken by the corruption while Skid does his best to resist. Boyfriend overpowers him though, and the spooky month duo fall.
While Boyfriend send the Corrupted Pico to take care of Mommy Mearest, he and GF enter the game to delete Senpai. Senpai, realizing what is going on, attempts to kill boyfriend before Boyfriend can completely destroy him. Ultimately, he fails and is destroyed.
After Escaping, Boyfriend seeks to uncorrupt everyone who was overpowered starting with Girlfriend, The corruption is using now using new mind techniques to disturb Boyfriend, including Corrupted Girlfriend snapping her own neck whilst screaming in pain. BF is absolutely mortified but resists as much as he can. In the middle half of the song, GF reveals black tendrils that seem to come from the speaker in an attempt to scare BF. For one moment during the song, GF presumably uses her demon powers to pretend to be uncorrupted, and praises BF for saving her. BF is happy, his stupidity and overconfidence blinding him from the thought that it couldn't have been that easy. "Girlfriend" then tells Boyfriend how much she missed him and to "Come here, you!" Boyfriend obeys, slowly walking toward her with a smile whilst looking away. "Girlfriend" then gets a sinister grin on her face, and the tendrils re-emerge from behind the speakers. She tells Boyfriend to "Stay right there." Boyfriend then seems to realize that this ISN'T Girlfriend, and jumps back in fear as the tendrils slam down into the floor where Boyfriend was just standing.
Then, GF's arm and small spots on her left leg and ankle have been slightly un-corrupted, signifying that BF is winning. The song progresses as normal until around a minute in, Where the lights cut out and Corrupted GF is shrouded in darkness. BF once more starts to get fearful, as the two sing in the darkness. The lights then return, with Girlfriend recorrupted. This may have been another illusion, or it may have been Girlfriend changing the tides. BF loses all of his remaining confidence, dropping his mic and clutching his head as Corrupted GF toys with his emotions. She says things such as "Did you REALLY think you could save her?", The taunting gets to BF, and he loses his mind. The healthbar drains rapidly, and Boyfriend is sent back into his own mind. He sings helplessly once more, however, a silhouette of Soul BF fades in the back, aiding BF and restoring his confidence. causing him to get his energy back and keep going. Boyfriend returns to his body, singing against Corrupted GF who has once more been slightly uncorrupted. It should be noted that when BF fights GF at this point, a strange black shape is found behind her... We are unaware what it is at this time. At the very end of the song, GF stabs her stereo with her tendrils, noting that it is "Such a shame." that BF regained his confidence. She throws the stereo away somewhere, and then starts floating up to the winged object.
GF has been de-corrupted even more, with a good portion of her body being clean. BF and CGF sing against each other for a bit with Boyfriend fully confident in himself. The corruption tries to pull one last trick, with the lights cutting out again and corrupted faces appearing in the darkness staring at BF. BF is strong however, and overcomes it. They continue singing for a while until BF stops, closes his eyes, and reaches out for GF. Suddenly, power surges through him as he sings even stronger. BF and CGF continue to go against each other, switching between hold note patterns and hyper note patterns. BF then does a solo, with a single spotlight illuminating him, before continuing to battle GF. GF has been uncorrupted even more at this point, with half of her body being uncorrupted, aside for her head, hair and her right arm. The two continue with their duet a little more until BF performs one more surge. At this point, GF is almost completely uncorrupted, with only parts of her hair and her face being corrupted. Suddenly, GF starts reaching her hand out to BF, as if to grab his hand. BF reaches out too, until the corruption pulls out one last-ditch attempt to beat him, with rapid singing. BF counters this attack by doing long note patterns, followed by repeating GF's attack.
Then... it was over. GF had been uncorrupted, bringing an end to her corrupted self.
