The Corruptions are the main antagonistic forces of the Roblox game and storyline Databrawl. Being morally and alignmently dependant on the type of Corruption, usually the main armies's goal is simple. Dominate or destroy the system they invade.
Appearance[]
Viruses[]
The main ones appear as a black cone with a pink outline, one big cone for the head and a pink circle for an eye, two smaller cones for hands and one cone for a torso.
Malware[]
The main ones appear has a black rectangular prism with a dark blue outline, one big prism for a head and an upside down dark blue triangle for an eye, two smaller prisms for hands, and one prism for a torso.
The corruptions have many varying appearances with each type, character and form. They can also evolve to stronger forms, and some even becoming humanoid in form, turning into an Anthro.
Synopsis[]
Corruptions are entites that are harmful software or computer viruses to computers and other software, and infect and corrupt computers alongside the inhabitants that reside in the computers. Corruptiosn usually have a core inside them that are protected by many layers of a material which is crystalized, giving them a crystal like feeling to them. If their core is exposed in any way, the core will come out of their bodies killing them in the process, but the core is still capable of infecting and corrupting which makes the core’s material very poisonous. But although the corruptions share the same purpose, they don’t go along very well resulting in a rivalry between different corruption species and many wars in different computers, bringing in other entities to be involved in their conflicts. Corruptions are also an alignment for characters or types of software that cause harm to other entites.
Lorewise corruotions can evolve into stronger forms and their highest potential a corruption can reach is a prime rank, there are also many types of corruptions which can differ depending on a certain event or type of computer like the Utopi board where they become domesticated pets or be weaponized by Torturewall units in the Hatraboard.
Lore[]
The corruptions within the Battle Mode System were created and were sent to to infect and corrupt computer after being sold access codes from The Corrupto Alpha Trio causing them to invade them some even desroyed computers like Tyrant. But there was a rivalry between the two factions which were the Malware and Viruses, thhese two fought in a war while killing any friendly entities in their path and they were led by many leaders like Malicious or Vyrus. The main game of Databrawl happens when Vilnav and his Virus army got sold an access code to the standard computer, but when they entered, they also met someone which was Maudeu and his Malware army who also git sold an access code to the Standard Computer, and thus the corruption warfare has begun along with some programs and Firewalls.
In-game abilities[]
In the game the two corruption classes function exactly the same, although lorewise, Viruses collect more Program hearts rather then bits, prefer complete destruction and speedy and sharp weapons while Malwares are the opposite as they collect Bits rather than hearts, looting areas and slow and high damage weapons.
When you spawn as a corruption you get a random melee and a random ranged weapon along with a rare chance of spawning as a brawler whch are a stronger and faster version of defeault classes. Theres corruption bytes which zap players within a radius and captured program bytes which heal teammates within a radius and captured chubbs which provide food to their teammates. Theres also mines that spawn across the map that is very powerful although you are not immune to it’s damage and knockback, same goes for your teammates. Alongside that theres token earnable characters which you get by touching a rare token which randomly spawns across the map, which will be listed below:

Spyware[]
They have the ability to cloak, disguise the selves as factions on the enemy team and own a knife.
Scareware[]
They can cloak, stun other players (via screaming) and wield a spear.
CIH[]
THis class has a lot of health, can do punches that do high damage and can hurl rocks at others to deal big damage, even though they can’t jump anymore.
Pathogen[]
They wield a mace, can steal from other players and the only special that can wield mines. (Replaced with ransomware.)
Creeper[]
They are a swift class, havng the ability to evade or dash forward and have the ability to unleash a sonic pulse which functions as a projectile along with having the fastest melee swing speedin the game.
Happy99[]
These classes can do punch to do moderate damage and have a firework launcher that can allow players to rocket jump
Gruel[]
This class acts as a more supportive class, having the abiltiy to punch and realse an aura temporarily that functions as an attack and can heal teammates if its in the radius.
MadSack[]
This character acts as a replacement to Pathogens in the Haloween event and can only be played during that event, he can harvest items in his sack that affect his melee attack and walkspeed.
Bodiers[]
This is considered one of the most powerful characters in the game, having the highest healthpool and highest damage output along with having the ability of being unshakable, although it has the worst autohealing and requires a captured program byte to have better healing and the game notifies everyone in the server if the bodier has been slain or not.
Trivia[]
- Some of the corruption’s names are based on real computer viruses like “ILOVEYOU” or “Jeruslalem”
- There are many joke corruptions that were only playable during the April Fools event like “Sans”, “King K Rool” and “Upgraded Dough Boi” which are non canon
- Although most of the corruptions are made for infecting and corrupting, there is a passive group known as “The Odd Bunch” which are different from other corruptions and don’t have interests in infecting computers
