Biography[]
Background[]
Not much is known about Creosi other than he's a sorcerer who seems to enjoy terrorizing people by using his magic to trap them inside his nightmare and kills them if they end up making their way to the final stage.
Asleep[]
As the player woke up from their bed, they though they escaped from the nightmare. However, it was a trap. As they go through the door, the tiny room behind collapsed, revealing below to be the Nether. Eventually, when the flame star from the sky falls down, Creosi shows up and welcomes the player with a laugh, telling them that their nightmare has just begun.
The battle start from this moment and Creosi will use these attacks to kill the player:
- Using his sword to slash them. The sword cause Wither effect and set the player on fire.
- Summoning melee Skeletons with a leather cap.
- Shooting a ton of arrow surrounding him in a pattern.
- Shooting fireball at the player.
- Shooting fire everywhere surrounding him. The pattern are the same as the arrow.
Eventually, he's defeated by the player. The bridge leads to the exit rebuild itself after his death, allowing them to escape. At the end of the map, he talks to the player about what happened and asks ,"was it a dream?".
Trivia[]
- The player's nightmare about him at the start of Asleep 2 could signify that the player's experience with Creosi has scarred the player to a point where they got nightmare about it.
- While he's completely evil in the dream world, the real world Creosi is shown to be more affable to the player, which could indicate that he's their friend in real life. This could signify that Creosi is real, and the player's dream about him is only out of their fear, or the dream about Creosi is an omen about his hidden evil and betrayal to the player. It is also possible for Creosi to not exist in real life, and the player's talk with him is only an hallucination.
- His confrontation to the player in the finale could be one of the two things: Either he purposely let the player live through all of the nightmares he set up to not only prolong the torment to the player, but also because he want to have all the fun of killing them himself. Or this is Creosi's last effort to kill the player should they survive through all nightmares.
- As killing Creosi is the only way to get out of the nightmares, it is possible for the player to be the first and only one to survive Creosi's nightmares (as it was never implied that the player is Creosi's first victim).
