Crusty the Cat (Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's)

Crusty the Cat is the secondary antagonist of Five Nights at Chuck E. Cheese's Rebooted. He doesn't appear during the main gameplay, instead being the sole threat of the post-night Overtime minigame.

Appearance[]

Crusty is a worn-out black cat animatronic. His nose and the insides of his ears are pink, and his face is white. He wears a blue jersey with yellow sleeves that has the number 13 in the middle and "Swingers" above it, both in yellow text. Like the rest of the portrait animatronics, Crusty has no legs and instead has a metal plate where he was once bolted to the stage. Due to being tossed into storage and neglected, Crusty is covered in dirt and grime with his once yellow eyes now faded and his jaw seemingly having broken as it now hangs open at all times.

Biography[]

Crusty once performed in a portrait of his own alongside the other animatronics before he was replaced by Mr. Much and left in the storage room.

While the player is looking for certain items on the storage room's shelves, Crusty will approach from either side behind them, accompanied by the sounds of his squeaking joints. The player must flash their light at him to make him leave for a while before trying again. If the player either ignores Crusty or clicks on a wrong item too many times, he'll attack and end the minigame.

Trivia[]

He's the only enemy in the game not available during Custom Night.
His voice lines originate from some of the original Pizza Time Theater showtapes.
He might possibly be a lost soul that has been trapped in the Crusty animatronic because he said: "You haven't told my mother, have ya?". This must indicate that he needs to get out of this place to find his long lost mother.
