Dagon the Dark is the titular main antagonist of the Skyrim creepypasta of the same name.
Appearance[]
Dagon is a black textureless dragon with no wings, tiny glowing eyes, and a dog-like mouth filled with sharp teeth.
Personality[]
He is a terrifying beast as all the NPCs show great fear as they don't pull out their weapons in an attempt to fight him.
He also seemed aware of the protagonist and Sam's plan on killing him as he went into a sneaky route in picking them both off.
Powers/abilities[]
- Near Invincibility: According to Sam, the only way to hurt him was using an in game item. (Presumably meaning he is invincible to every other way of attack).
- Ground digging: He can bury through the ground in a quick session to his victims.
- Teleportation (assuming): He is apparently shown being able to escape the game into the real world as he (most likely) killed Sam and later hid inside the protagonists closet.
Victims[]
- 1-7 Whiterun soldiers, a guard, Irelith and the Dragonborn: Consumed
- 8 Sam (aka Cylinder-dude): Killed, teeth ripped out and replaced with dog teeth.
Biography[]
He made an unexpected appearance through the in-game wait time from 3am to 8am the protagonist used while waiting for the merchant stores to open in Whiterun. He saw it as a Dragon's shadow poking it's head out of the ground for half a second and dipping back down quickly, giving them a fright.
The protagonist went on Bethesda forums to explain what he saw, but accidently misspelled "Dragon" as "Dagon" leading it to be his name, three people came to help them speculate, they were all clueless as one of them, known online as "Cylinder-dude" pointed out that Dagon would've been an invisible dragon do to lack of textures instead of being an all black model.
The protagonist went back into the game to discover something shocking, that there were no dragons around the map, desperate on wanting to fight one they searched every location for six in-game days and also tried using the Odahviin shout, but nothing happened, they were all gone.
They started a new game, only to be greeted with something creepy, as they spawned right in Whiterun and Dragonsreach, searching around for the Jarl, he wasn't found anywhere, except for hearing his voice in the main hall saying "You have to slay the beast." Assuming he was meaning the dragon from the "Dragon Rising" quest they left the town to go to the tower where the fight was, they found Irileth and the soldiers waiting for them, but just like the Jarl, her only response was "Please slay the beast." Upon approaching the tower (noticing the lack of fire effects) they got into conversation with one of the guards, and heard dialogue that didn't sound like the actual voice actor.
Dagon the Dark, a textureless dragon without wings dropped down from the tower and bit down on the guard, before dragging him underground. The protagonist backed away in horror as every nearby NPC were consumed one-by-one and didn't do anything against the monster because of intense fear and panic. Dagon then ate the protagonists player character causing the screen to turn white. Their character woke up and looked down revealing they were inside the dragon's model and are greeted with Dagon's disturbing face, they couldn't turn the camera do to a glitch and they were paralyzed in fear for hours, before blacking out and woke up standing in front of their bed the following morning.
