Damascus is a major character in the All Worlds Alliance series, serving as the main antagonist of All Worlds Alliance Missions: Tales of the World.
One of the members of the Apostles of the New World, Damascus is the first major villain of the series the All Worlds Alliance have faced. While he did not make an early appearance during AWA Missions: Tales of the World, it is later revealed that he's behind the monster attacks across the Multiverse during Kannono Grassvalley's journey to go back to Randgriz, in his pursuit to steal the World Tree's powers for himself.
Appearance[]
Damascus is a tall man, whose age is unknown. He is Caucasian, with yellow eyes, spiky blue hair, and a bar code-like tattoo on his left face. He is dressed in black trousers, black boots, black gloves, and a heavy dark cloak.
Personality[]
Damascus likes causing chaos as an Apostle and doesn't give a damn about who he damages, even "proving" to his enemies that he does nothing wrong and tries to justify his own actions. Damascus is arrogant and jovial, frequently making fun of his adversaries to agitate them. He is remarkably patient and kind, though, and would show respect to anyone who were to defeat him.
Damascus is still a member of the AWA, but he has become more laid back and helpful to his new teammates. He claims that in order to be among the good men, he is still a terrible man.
Background[]
In AWA Missions: Tales of the World, Damascus did not explicitly make a physical appearance at first, preferring to send an army of monsters including Terraformars, IS Golems, dinosaurs, contaminoids, eggbears, and lizardmen at separate occasions, particularly during Kannono Grassvalley's dimensional hopping in an attempt to go back to Randgriz.
However, in Chapter 7 Damascus eventually arrived at Randgriz without the AWA and Ad Libitum's knowledge, as he was able to reach the core of the World Tree, wanting its power to obtain a Knight rank within the Apostles. His plans, however, would soon be put into conflict as the AWA including Kannono and Purple Heart, as well as some of Class 12 heroes, as well as others including Mato Kuroi, confront him and his army. While Damascus was able to square off against the goddess Purple Heart and Kannono in a 2-in-1 fight, the tables soon turned in favour for Kanonno as she was able to achieve the World Tree's power, unlocking Excellion Drive, much to Damascus' anger and shock.
Eventually, despite his efforts, Damascus was defeated by a superpowered Kannono with an Unchained Note attack, causing him to be knocked out. He was soon arrested by the Plumbers.
Trivia[]
- In Twisted World Animania series, another work by someonestupED, Damascus is a starter villain who was killed during "The Beginning of the Start". However, in AWA fics, despite being also a starter villain, Damascus is given a more significant role, down to being the main antagonist of his story and later a redeemed character after his defeat.
