Dame Raven Gallowmere (falsely Ironclaw) is a major character in the upcoming animated series, War of Voltek. She is a Gallowmere whose mother was kidnapped when she was still pregnant with her by Sir Wolfgang Ironclaw and when Raven was born, Lord Griswald Kaiser permanently cursed her by recoloring her to resemble an Ironclaw by force-feeding her a potion, and she was trained by Wolfgang her "father" to become a femme fatale for his family while he also lied to her about her origins.
She is also the arch nemesis of her "father".
Personality[]
Raven was initially seductive and vile, obeying the orders of her "father" and acting cold and sadistic to her victims. After she learned the truth, she started to hate all of her false relatives and became remorseful over her deeds and became more heroic and felt betrayed from her discovering that her life is a lie.
Appearance[]
Raven is a koopa that due to Griswald's curse, has red eyes, orange skin, and a brown head. She has a tannish muzzle, a reddish spiked shell and heels. She had her brown hair in a long braid that went down her back.
History[]
Prior to her birth Raven was the child of Sir Alexander Gallowmere and Lady Jane Bathony, however Alexander was longtime rivals with the cunning mastermind Sir Wolfgang Ironclaw, which resulted in Wolfgang kidnapping Jane shortly before her wedding with Alexander and he forced her to marry him and if she refused, he threatened to abort the unborn Raven by chaining her to a board while restraining her and having Neville eat her out of her. Jane agreed not wanting to be subjected to a brutal punishment if she refused, after they married, she gave birth to Raven shortly later in 1490 in which the sinister minister Count Kaiser force-fed the newborn a potion to rid her of her Gallowmere traits. When Wolfgang was sleeping, she took Raven and tried to run away to Gallowmere territory, she was then spotted by Bastion Ironclaw who assaulted her and returned her to Ironclaw Castle, in which Wolfgang decided to have her eaten by Neville. As per the suggestion of his uncle Harold, Wolfgang raised her to be a seductive yet deadly warrior, who would marry the sons of nobles only for her husband to be killed in battle so that the Ironclaws could invade that territory. She also helped the Ironclaws with some of their deeds such as terrorizing the Gallowmeres and other villages in order to distract Edward's forces. She also helped Harold and the other Harbingers assault the Koopa Kingdom personally. After she overheard an argument between her "father" and Bastion, she learns from Bastion that her whole life was a lie and feels betrayed, she tries to confront Wolfgang who still tries to lie by saying it was a joke but Raven turns against him, thinking that he just views her as a pawn for his family. Wolfgang tasked Antonio to stop her from leaving but despite holding on to her legs, she was able to drag him effortlessly and kicks his face to get him to stop hindering her escape. After she goes to the Gallowmeres to redeem herself, Richard revealed the entire truth to her. Raven ends up becoming more heartbroken at this due to how her whole life was a lie and Richard also explains to her of how Griswald's curse is permanent and unfortunately there is nothing he can do to cure it which upsets Raven, she decides to help Richard and by extension Edward to defeat Voltek mainly to get revenge on her false family for what they did to her. During the final battle, she confronts Wolfgang who tries to reason with her, but she just scolds Wolfgang for his vile trickery. She tries to kill Wolfgang to avenge her mother, but Wolfgang continues trying to convince her that he loves her but to no success, Harold started to send other Ironclaws to assist Wolfgang in killing Raven but she manages to evade their attempts at killing her. She continuously got the upper hand during her fight with Wolfgang and almost killed him constantly. After the events of the war, she still held a grudge against Wolfgang for obvious reasons, even the fact that Neville almost ate her when she was a fetus. Raven passed away in 1578 after dying from getting overwhelmed by vengeful Ironclaws.
