~ Dandy jumpscaring Cosmo, while revealing the real reason why he made him and Sprout bake the cake. |
Dandicus Dancifer, commonly known as Dandy, is the main antagonist of the 2024 Dandy’s World fan-game, Bake Night Terror by Fuziyama.
He is a lethal rarity Toon who tasks Cosmo and Sprout to bake a cake for the Gardenview museum’s 6th Anniversary. Though later on, it’s revealed that Dandy manipulated Cosmo into using a black substance (Ichor) as an ingredient for the cake, turning Sprout, Astro, and presumably the other Main Toons into Twisteds.
While his original counterpart’s actions are widely vague, this version of Dandy is more sadistic, and manipulative than his original incarnation.
Biography[]
Dandy walks into the kitchen to ask Cosmo and Sprout about a favor. When the latter two walk to his shop a while later, Dandy asks them to cook a special cake, much to Sprout’s dismay, as he was already preparing a cake with Cosmo earlier. Dandy adds on that the “special” cake is meant to celebrate the Gardenview museum’s 6th Anniversary. When Sprout tells Dandy that the Anniversary doesn’t happen until a week from now, Dandy tells him that his Toon Handler had pushed the celebration a week early, claiming that the shipping for the ingredients was delayed, and would go bad before then (which is later revealed to be a lie). When Sprout frustratingly asks where the ingredients are, Dandy replies that he lost them and that they’re scattered around Gardenview, before kicking the two out of the store and telling them not to come back until they retrieve the ingredients.
After Cosmo and Sprout return to Dandy’s Shop with the ingredients, Sprout asks Dandy about what the black substance is. Dandy claims that it’s “fruit juice”, which is meant to be for the icing on the cake, claiming that his Toon Handler instructed him to use it as icing to give the cake a sweet touch. Sprout, becoming increasingly suspicious, asks Dandy why the “fruit juice” was kept as a secret, only for Dandy to interrupt him by mentioning that there’s two hours left to finish the cake.
Dandy arrives at the Anniversary celebration late. If Cosmo interacts with him, Dandy states he didn’t eat the cake yet. if Cosmos interacts with Astro, the latter asks Cosmo if he can ask him about something later, only for Dandy to eavesdrop on them until Astro pushes him away.
After Cosmo escapes a Twisted Astro when the former was woken up by some groaning coming from Sprout, he opens the door to the storage room in the Kitchen and sees that Sprout had become a Twisted. But Dandy walks in on them and jumpscares Cosmo. Dandy reveals that the cake that Cosmo and Sprout bake with the “fruit juice” icing was actually what caused them to become Twisted, and that it’s all Cosmo’s fault for causing it. When Cosmo calls out Dandy for not caring for his friends, the latter arrogantly claims that he does. Then, Dandy walks towards Cosmo with a syringe and ignores the latter’s pleas about why he did all this, before tauntingly stating that in another lifetime, he would’ve listened. The credits reveal that Cosmo was transformed into a Twisted, just like Sprout.

Trivia[]
- Dandy briefly appears behind Cosmo for a split second before the latter opens the door to the storage room in the Kitchen.
- If Cosmo asks all of the questions to Astro, the latter walks into Cosmo’s room before he falls asleep, asking if Cosmo had put anything new in the cake, implying the former’s suspicion about Dandy. This interaction seems to foreshadow Dandy’s true nature.
- Dandy’s jumpscare towards Cosmo may be a reference to Monika from Doki Doki Literature Club.
- The music box version of “Claire de Lune” that plays when Cosmo finds Twisted Sprout in the storage room is a reference to Twisted Dandy’s theme in the original game, along with also foreshadowing Cosmo’s encounter with Dandy.
