Danny Tanner is the hidden true main antagonist of Heroes’ Year Part I: New Year although his role is small as he only appeared in the arc’s final three episodes. After his survival is revealed, he increasingly became mentally unstable and served as the opening antagonist of Heroes’ Year Part II.
History[]
He was initially the heart of the Full House cast and also was kind and sweet to boot. However, he was told by Jesse Katspolis that his daughter D.J drank beer and was taken aback to the point of ignoring his own daughter’s side of the story and sends her to her room. Mistakenly thinking someone was a bad influence on her, he and Jesse started to enter Linden City but only Danny Tanner made it due to Jesse having lost both his father and Michelle in short succession. Having gone mad, he finally approaches Zachary Delightful as the Baby Bears were being arrested and sent to Bug City Prison. He warns Zachary that, if he were to recruit more like him, Lily Loud, Baby Shark, Unikitty and Periwinkle to his cause, there would be repercussions. He even murdered Periwinkle in the exact same fashion as Oliver Hayden from the Chucky 2021 show. When Zachary offered a membership to Kai-Lan and Rintoo (which in turn both adds them to the List), he comes through on his word destroying Phoebe’s friendship with Cherry and then arresting the Myles Bots after the kids and teenagers go into war with each other AND adults thus destroying Zachary’s popularity and branding him as a “fantasia toon” like his temporary enemies leaving him ashamed and crestfallen. He also causes the Mortician’s Club to turn into a villainous army as he declares revenge against the Myles Bots when he was led to think Zachary was the cause of his daughter’s “behavior”. Taking advantage of Leonard McLeish’s paranoia, he corrupts him to his side and also is told of Variant X. With the knowledge in mind, he frames the mysterious character for bird-napping a beloved class pet parrot named Otto ousting Strudel as the villain and adding Variant X and their partner King Clawthorne to the List. The act also threatens the safety of the two’s family and friends and Danny slowly loses all redeemable qualities due to his fall to darkness. After believing his daughter had lost her virginity to her boyfriend, he banishes her from the young man’s home and immediately loses his grip on his sanity becoming a vengeful extremist out to eliminate Zachary and his character friends. After Spike the Dragon is attacked by Diamond Dogs, Timmy Turner is embarrassed and loses his best friend and pet fairy dog in short succession and the Flying Dutchman scares off the Star family leading to Squidina moving to Homebase to escape the grasp of Eda and her successors and the Powerpuff Girls mistakenly thinking Zachary is an evil scientist who created Mojo Jojo, Danny enters the Spring Break original skit premiere and sadistically tries to murder the akumatized bird in revenge for his daughter’s apparent corruption. He also plans to sell the team out to F.O.W.L in order to ensure the final defeat of the Myles Bots Initiative. A mysterious caller states the only way to protect his daughter is to stay away from Eda’s mercy but Tanner doesn’t care and tries to continue his evil plan. However, he is finally down for the count when he suffers the same fashion and death as Evan Lewis saving Mi’s life, declaring Ming-Ming and T’Challa Star-Lord both official Myles Bots,

Personality[]
At first glance, he was a sweet and kind man as well as a loving father. However, cracks occasionally come to the surface as shown when he mildly abused DJ and Stephanie into raking leaves thinking they are bullying Michelle. After Michelle is apparently killed in a horse accident and his other daughter was believed to drink beer, his true colors emerge and he undergoes a face-heel turn becoming evil, delusional and the new generation’s Logan Wheeler. He also is a copy of Trent Overunder and his legacy as well as Trent’s return caused more mayhem and chaos than Trent had ever done.
Trivia[]
- Strudel was advertised as the main antagonist of Heroes’ Year Part 1: New Year but, due to Bob Saget’s death, he became the main antagonist due to having bigger plans than Strudel to the point of sending her and her teammates into eternal sleep.
