Dark Dave, also known as the Dark Wizard or Dark Mage (pronounced Dark Me-yage) among many others is the secondary antagonist of the fantasy comedy video, We Saved a Kingdom, made by the improv troupe, Sorry.
He is a level 700 dark mage who was banished by King Thomas Micheal to a distant land due to him killing his wife. Upon being released by his son, Gabriel, he takes advantage of the current Barbarian attack by manipulating those closest to Thomas and turning them against him in order to seize control of his kingdom. He is also Gabriel’s apprentice and surrogate father figure and Thomas’ arch-enemy-turned-surrogate lover.
He is portrayed by Charlie, more famously known as Slimecicle.

Past[]
Prior to the events of the video, Dark David was an infamous sorcerer known by many names, such as The Throngler, Shadow Weaver, Shadow Eater and Shadow F**ker. When Gabriel was 3 years old, he killed Thomas’ wife, Helen. For this heinous crime, Dave was banished to a far away forest guarded by the deadliest guards and wards of Thomas’ kingdom. Ever since his banishment, he waits for the son of Thomas to release him from his prison.
We Saved a Kingdom[]
Dark Dave first appears spying on the kingdom’s Barbarian attack via his mystical ball. Dave gets bored and decides to play Subway Surfers on his crystal ball, only to die and realise that he needs to watch an advertisement in order to continue, much to Dark Dave’s dismay, even declaring such an act “truly evil work”.
