Dark Lord Mark McGrath, more infamously known as Lucifer, Satan, Beelzebub, The Devil among many others is the main antagonist of the Interactive Hell Festival series made by Mega64.

He specifically serves as the unseen overarching antagonist of both the 2020 & 2021 Hell Festivals, the overarching antagonist of the 2022 Hell Festival and one of the two unseen overarching antagonists (alongside Corpsey McDeadman) of the 2023 Hell Festival.

The lead singer of the band Sugar Rays-turned-demonic overlord, he is the tyrannical leader of Hell who is responsible for nearly all of the events that have happened throughout the Hell Festivals via his neglectful leadership.

Whilst most information about him remains unknown, all that is known is that he is very strict and controlling, condemning the Mega64 crew for apparently not entertaining him enough, despite stating that he was very entertained by the crew’s antics. This implies that he seeks to eliminate all opposition to him at any cost.

He is portrayed by his real life counterpart.

Trivia

• Despite the main villain of the Hell Festival series, he only officially appears in one instalment of the entire series. In addition, he only has around 35 seconds of screen time and one scene where he is on screen. Whilst he does technically appear in the 2023 Hell Festival, he only appears through his demonic guise, not his real self.
• The moment where he mistakenly calls his band Sugar Gay is a reference to the moment where a teenager childishly, to Mark wrathfully retorts back with equally childish insults.
• Mark McGrath is extremely similar to Eddie Van Halen from the same series, as both are former band members and musicians that became demons and haunted the Mega64 crew for a while. Only difference is that Eddie Van Halen can shapeshift and possess at will whilst Mark McGrath’s abilities are all unknown.
