Dark Lord Occult is a very sadistic and nigh-omnicidal but still somewhat honourable villain from the stories by Satanbrony. His nigh-omnimalevolence seems to be driven almost by pure sadism and desire to cause destruction. Balth'Vahr is very good at encouraging the evil of others. While traveling throughout many multiverses the White Tahrahn tends to help other villains achieve their goals.
Balth'Vahr is one of the few villains of his type that have a positive relationship with their servants. Occult is also known for being honest and loyal with a strong sense of camaraderie. The White Tahrahn tends to keep his promises.
Appearances; Physical description; How does this villain look like[]
Physicality and shapeshifting[]
Having unsurpassable control over his size, shape and weight makes the White Tahrahn able to choose his appearance. Balth'Vahr makes himself friendlier or more dreadful depending on what he needs. Besides that, for combat purposes Occult often makes his limbs more weapon-shaped, hand-shaped or makes extra body parts with imperative features. It has been shown that he can extend any of his limbs at superluminal speeds, or grow many spikes in a similar way. The colours that Balth'Vahr can use seem to be limited to shades of blue, shades of grey(silver is included), shades of pink, shades of red and shades of white.
The White Darkness often shapes itself as monstrous versions of some other creatures. While chatting with friends or making new ones, the Sadistic Tahrahn tends to take an appearance that would be comfortable for them.
Occult's body is always simultaneously uniquely supersolid and destructively plasma-like, however for the sake of being huggable it can also be fluffy and pleasant… Unlike actual plasma, the body of Balth'Vahr is obliterative rather than just extremely hot. It is also very antibiological, as such its presence is destructive to all manner of life, unless he actively changes for his friends. For cuddles Balth'Vahr can be something similar to a huge plushie.
The Dark Lord's body seems to glow in some sort of white light almost, especially in darkness. On the other hand, when the White Horror is in a light "area", then it seems as if he is emanating a type of grey darkness!
Humanoid form[]

Dark Lord Occult in his most common humanoid form. Here he emanates darkness.
Just as some other shapeshifting villains, Balth'Vahr does have quite a few humanoid forms he tends to use often. Main one of these seems to be something similar to a fully armored knight with silver-like colour armor. Even in such sape the White Darkness is as flexible as it wants to be and is fully capable of quickly moving in non-humanoid way. Although in this form Occult tends to emanate so much darkness that it can seem as if it is a solid darkness with a few pieces of armour and things floating in it while surrounded by another darkness. Those additional things tend to be uniquely supersolid non-elemental material that his will manifested itself as.
The White Tahrahn's humanoid helmet seems to be a mix between a crown made from knife blades with red tips and a thin proper knight helmet. From the beginning of his humanoid neck up to the area of the "eyes", the White Demon Lord might seem to look similar to a mummy if it was wrapped in armor plates instead of simple linen cloth. In addition to the helmet and neck armor plates, the Dark Lord's head seems to be protected by a piece of armour that is shaped similar to the top of a great fancy cape that surrounds the head. The face of humanoid Bath’Vahr can be almost any form he chooses it to be, from mostly human-looking to monstrous and anything in between. Occult’s usual humanoid forms don’t have nails, their fingers tend to be quite long, most of them about three times the length of the palms, while the thumbs are only slightly more than double the length of the palms. Instead of having nails, Bath’Vahr’s fingers are simply blade-like from a certain point.
Balth’Vahr has appeared in humanoid form in various sizes , sometimes smaller than normal humans. While using this form to help the Lich of Ooo he appeared to be about the same size, so if Finn the human was 1 meter in height, at that point humanoid White Darkness was at least three meters(most likely 4,5m) in height or at least 9’8 feet (most likely 14,7ft) tall. When he was successfully exterminating celestialsapiens in an alternative multiverse, Bath’Vahr made himself big enough for them to attack him more than a few at a time if they wanted to fight back for any reason. The problem was that they were primordial cosmic beings with such almost immeasurable power that all of it can be considered reality-warping and as such was utterly irrelevant to the White Darkness, while the powers they could use would only empower the Silver Lord. He did telepathically communicate with all of them and clearly explained that he was their enemy who came there to exterminate them all so that they wouldn’t be held back by decision making on whether or not they should defend themselves.
Main form[]

Occult's main pony form without armor
Occult's main form seems to be something similar to a "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic'' style pony because he originally started as a villain for a fan made version of that style of multiverse. His face in pony form seems to be a balance between that of a mare and a stallion. There is nothing between its legs that would suggest Occult being either. Whatever he has for hair seems to be just many slim tendrils.
Regarding the normal size of Balth'Vahr, in its unaltered pony form the White Darkness seems to be somewhat gigantic. From the part of his frontal leg that touches the ground up to the top of his head (without the "hair") the Sadistic Tahrahn is taller than two and a half Mlp:Fim Hydras fully extended on top of each other. This means that while walking on all fours, the unaltered pony form of Batlth'Vahr is at least 32 meters and 50 centimetres (32,5 m) tall, or 106 feet and 6 inches (106,6 feet) in height. Dark Lord Occult's strength is immense and uniquely destructive even when compared with other giant monstrous creatures of great power or with smaller beings with super strength accordingly.
As for colours, what he has for skin seems to be white, his "hair" is often black and very dark gray, while his "eyes'' have purely bright red irises without pupils, the scleras of Occult's eyes are red, pink or white. The teeth of Balth'Vahr have been shown to be white most of the time, although sometimes they are also light blue.
Drahsa[]

Drahsa the fearless and inexhaustable zebra-unicorn. One of Occult's original exitences.
As Drahsa the Dark Lord looked similar to a Mlp:FiM pony and a Mlp:FiM style zebra, the zebra-unicorn's tail definitely has a more zebra-tail-like structure. Main colour of her skin was brown with dark grey stripes, "spikes" etc. She had purple irises, the same colour as her unicorn-like magic. Her legs were slightly different… It is known that originally, during childhood Drahsa's hair used to be dark brown with some dark grey stripes, but because of bleeding very often it changed to fire-like colours. The zebra-unicorn doesn't have lips, but her jaws and yellow teeth are somewhat overgrown and definitely compensate for that. The fearless mare has about half of each ear, that is why her ears look sharper and similar to wolf ears. Drahsa's muscles are tougher and harder than any stone.
Personality; What does this villain like/dislike; How does this villain act/behave[]
Sadism and desire for destruction[]
The White Lord of Darkness has an avid eagerness to cause destruction and make others suffer, mostly without having an end goal while just enjoying the process. It is important to know that to say "Occult wants to destroy everything" would be incorrect, the truth is more of an "Occult wants to destroy" as he simply enjoys doing that.
Making creatures endure physical and mental torment always seems to make Balth'Vahr overly happy. He also enjoys causing genuine terror and despair in others. If a creature was crying in pain while being torn apart it would be very cute for Occult, as he has the same reaction for gore and traditional cuteness, such as baby animals nicely playing together. If a simple dog-loving person would want to pet and cuddle cute puppies, then in addition to that, Balth'Vahr would want to torment those lovely little canines to death. Even in his main original existence, as Drahsa, it had a desire to cause painful deaths of innocent others, such as her many instances of starving parentless children to death without any actual reason besides simply wanting to do that. Occult as himself has never been against torturing children to death or doing the same to any other forms of life. In fact it is one of his favourite ways of ending the existence of most creatures because it pleased both his sadism and his desire to cause destruction. He enjoys doing that especially a lot while manually exterminating species, which also has another benefit of causing terror and hopelessness. Destroying the homes of loved ones of creatures tends to make them sad and suffer emotional pain if they are not directly harmed by it. In many instances Balth'Vahr's sadism encourages his desire to cause destruction! Most of the time the White Darkness causes extermination of creatures and their homes purely to make them endure suffering, sadness, terror and despair. The fact that he gains strength, power and other benefits from such things is a wonderful bonus for him. The White Darkness has often openly shown admiration and encouragement for the sadism of others, especially for the sadism and destructive tendencies of his own servants!
If Dark Lord Occult was left completely alone in a multiversal void as the aftermath of destroying absolutely everything, the two things he would sincerely regret the most at first would be not having anyone to torture and not having anything to destroy (That is what happened when he was in a similar situation). It is almost as if that is the point of what he has for existence. The joy of making others suffer is what makes the Great Tormentor to keep going. Being in the void was very boring to him, it is where it was made clear that he doesn't want to destroy absolutely everything, but he saw that as the end result of his purpose… For a time Occult's opinion on what he has for existence went from "I am here to have fun while happily making others suffer and to destroy things" to "I am here to make everything boring… The only things I am good for and that I can enjoy, make the world boring...". That is why he represents destruction, but not the void, not the results of that destruction or its goals. The White Tahrahn definitely has self-control when it comes to his destructive tendencies. He is capable of sparing something as a gift for someone else!
The White Tahrahn's nigh-omnimalevolence[]
One of Balth'Vahr's main abilities, skills and powers that can be counted as a personality trait is of course the White Tahrahn's night-omnimalevolence. This means that by choice Balth'Vahr can be almost absolutely evil, do almost all (absolutely) evil things and cause evil. It should be understood that Occult doesn't see himself as someone on the good side, he seems to be fully aware that creatures who choose to oppose him are heroic, at least in most of the encounters. One of the main ways Velin's little pony is able to inspire evil is of course by his enthusiastic sadism, but also by offering genuine encouragement and providing actual support. He is known for willingly helping many villains and evil creatures achieve their goals or even do their hobbies, especially if that will include opportunities to torture others and causing massive devastation. Dark Lord Occult is rather talented at manipulating others, he can deceive without actually lying. In the case of Occult, his nigh-omnimalevolence is also meant to be somewhat open to the interpretation and imagination of the reader while taking into account the other information about this character…
Honour, honesty and loyalty[]
The Sadistic Tahrahn is often shown to have a relatively strong sense of honour. Occult tends to be truthful and keep his promises even if that doesn't suit his overall goals. The White Lord of Darkness doesn't like making promises he won't be able to keep, as such he tends to state what he promises to do. Occult is also very loyal. He is rather unwilling to betray others, especially those who willingly help him, even if they outlive their usefulness. The White Darkness utterly destains traitors and disloyalty
He seeks to continuously make his servants more powerful and useful for himself instead of getting rid of them when they run out of their original usefulness. Balth'Vahr has shown similar tendencies to villains when he is allied with them.
He feels no additional animosity for those who defeated him in a fair way, Occult is actually likely to congratulate those who were able to best him in a fair challenge. Of course that doesn't change his desire to torture them, but it simply doesn't encourage extra hatred from him. This shows the tendency of Balth'Vahr to be what is described as "good sport". In addition to that, Balth'Vahr is almost always polite to others, even with explanations of what he is going to do. He isn't rude to his servants or his opponents. Occult tends to respect the titles and even some achievements of others. Of course he tends to remain honest while being polite.
The honesty of Balth'Vahr gives more meaning and power to his words. That is besides the destructive power his voice can have at his will. The promises of Balth'Vahr have a lot of worth. Occult's threats are definitely more serious because he is highly unlikely to lie about it, so it often is more of a statement of facts about what is going to happen rather than vague inclinations. He can make deals with others multiple times without the reputation of being the one who makes dishonest agreements.
Just as other honourable villains, Dark Lord Balth'Vahr does have some standards. He has a dislike for parents that abuse their own children, although it isn't because he considers them to be more evil than him as Occult has personally tutored uncountable numbers of children to death but because according to him such parents fail one of the main purposes of their existence. As mentioned before, in most cases Balth'Vahr is against directly communicating to others what isn't true. Even when Occult's goal is to deceive or to manipulate some creatures he tries to remain honest and lie only by omission, by allowing his victims to make up their own conclusions about what he says. The White Darkness has been shown to be against screwing others over in agreements or promises. The White Tahrahn prefers win-win deals for the sake of those he makes them with. Occult wants for agreements made with him to be beneficial for both parties. Occult isn't very likely to cheat. Balth'Vahr has returned the weapons of great warriors, whom he was fighting against, to them if they managed to lose them during a battle with him. This happened even in cases where the Dark Lord wanted to take the weapon for himself. Velin's lapdog has shown the ability to not harm innocent creatures if that is a reasonable condition of the fair fight challenge which the Dark Lord accepted. More than once had expressed his disdain for the enslavement of minds almost as much as he is against betrayal. Occult tends to negate the power of mind control, sometimes even if it is done by his allies. He also views it as a "lazy villain's way to for manipulation". As an antibiological uncreation the White Demon Lord cannot reproduce and has almost no interest in sexual activities unless to gain power and strength from the lust of others. He is utterly asexual and doesn't get a sense of empowerment from what would be considered raping others, to him doing that is the same as watching a freshly painted wall get dry.
However Balth'Vahr's sense of honour doesn't seem to be against killing defenseless and innocent creatures as Occult has often shown having no problem doing that! To some it might seem that they could use the Dark Lord's tendency to be honourable in order to redeem him to the heroic side. It did often work the other way around for Occult, as he could become genuinely trustworthy because of his honor and loyalty which allows him to make allies or corrupt creatures unlike any lies could. Furthermore it lets him try again and again as others can find good reasons to help him without the fear of being betrayed afterwards. Heroes who had been disappointed by the lack of honour amongst their heroic comrades might be inclined to join the side of Balth'Vahr.
Authoritative leadership and Occult's relationship with his servants[]
For the most part, the White Tahrahn has a very positive relationship with his servants. He isn't likely to insult them. As an antibiological being of uncreation that is utterly outside death and life, Balth'Vahr is absolutely unable to have biological children of his own, even clones. Occult's modified servants are the closest creatures he can possibly have to his offspring. For that reason the White Tahrahn expresses something similar to both fatherly and motherly affection towards his minions. Balth'Vahr wants to torture others for fun together with his servants. He is very good at listening to others and motivating them, especially for a common goal of his.
Occult's armies have a lot of mutual respect for the Dark Lord and they are very devoted to him. All of his servants are genuinely proud to shout "For Occult!","For Lord Occult!", "For the Dark Lord!", "For Batlth'Vahr!", "For the White Darkness!" or something similar when they go to fight or to torture under his command. Occult is telepathically nigh-omnipresent to his minions. That allows him to personally order each of his servants individually all at the same time. One of his original existences being a multiversal darkness and dark energy has given him the experience of being omnipresent in a couple of universes and nigh-omnipresent in many more, as such Occult doesn't have any trouble with nigh-omnipresent telepathic communication with his minions.
It is known that Balth'Vahr has some sort of unsurpassable influence over his servants, but since loyal extensions of his will, such as his soldiers, are completely immune to mind enslavement and similar things, the interpretation of how the White Tahrahn dominates the wills of his servants is open to the reader as it might be what is described as "soft-magic" style power or just part of his leadership.
Along with such loyal henchmen the White Darkness also has been able to motivate other creatures to serve him that he tends to regard more as allies even in cases where he is their supreme leader. These are most of the creatures with temporary servitude for a reward or something similar. Occult often treats such allies with respect. As promised they always get properly rewarded for their servitude without any sort of double-crossing from the White Tahrahn's part. One of the main differences between them and Occult's actual servants is that they are not counted as extensions of the Great Tormentor's will. They are more likely to get tortured or obliterated as punishment.
As expected with this type of villain, additional motivation to succeed in carrying out Dark Lord's orders is of course fear, which the White Tahrahn definitely knows how to instill!
If it isn't a betrayal or a complete loss, then the White Darkness seems to tolerate the failures of his servants and other creatures that serve him. Balth'Vahr often encourages his minions to try again if they suffer a setback or lack of success in achieving his orders. Although he is definitely willing to torture many of them, even out of existence for his pleasure or as punishment if he makes sure they deserve it according to him. Most common punishments are being sent to fix the problem, torture of the worse kind and total obliteration.
Friendliness, submissiveness and skirts[]
Occult definitely has what has been often described as "emotional intelligence". Balth'Vahr can empathize with others, he is also very good at understanding their feelings; Occult has a good self perception, especially of his own emotions, as such he has a very good control over them, he often does enjoy expressing himself; he is able to build strong relationships (good friendships), he is able to befriend adults and children alike. This is very useful because one of Balth'Vahr's main goals is to make friends! As an uncreation beyond death and life, the White Horror is unaffectable life things… He isn't influenced by greed, desire to have sex, need for social interaction or similar living stupidities, as such the Sadistic Tahrahn's desires for friendship are completely sincere. Same goes for his style of "romance", it really is just a lot of compassion for another creature to him. Balth'Vahr wants friendship for the sake of friendship, that is to enjoy what he and those other creatures have for their existences. Occult tends to provide a lot of emotional support for his friends. However as examples of what makes him feel joy he sometimes tends to bring up stories of how he tortured creatures… Having friends is also a type of self-torment for the Dark Lord because those are usually groups of creatutures that Occult wants to torture, is able to torture but he WON'T. He is likely to feel bad while causing pain to his friends. Despite Occult's sadistic desires, it should be clear that Balth'Vahr is not a psychopath at all!
When he was in a similar situation to a multiversal void as a result of absolute retribution used on him, in addition to not having anyone to torture or anything to destroy the White Tahrahn also began to miss the friends he made as Zheenya and Drahsa. When he was literally nowhere(the void) he also repented ending the existences of some creatures, or was disappointed in himself for having to do that.
Possibly the most weird detail on Occult's personality might be that the Dark Lord enjoys wearing skirts and dresses in addition to his armor sets.
Categories; Reasons for putting this Villain in each category that it is in[]
“ | When you add a category add a convincing and logical argument than just mindlessly and pointlessly adding random categories on pages where they don't belong. | „ |
~ Rules of Villains Fanon Wiki Regarding categories |
If this villain is added to any category, the reason for that should be listed here! If you think that there are more categories that this villain should be in, you can write the reasons for them in the comments, because for every category this villain is in, there has to be a proper reason.
Dark Lord Occult CANNOT BE:[]
- Psychopath because he does feel empathy for others… He also genuinely wants to make friends
- Nihilist because he knows that evil and good are actual things, he is fully aware of how the meaning of life works for others. He knows that he is evil and that those who fight against him are good (in most cases, as he has fought against lesser evils and greater evils).
- Delusional because he is under no misconception that he is doing the right thing, there is no end goal that would justify his means even to himself. He has been shown to be fully aware that he is doing evil completely by his own choice (HE IS ABSOLUTELY IMMUNE TO INFLUENCES OF THE MIND OF ANY KIND. He also doesn't have a soul)
- Faux Affably Evil because he is sincerely friendly and polite when he is.
- Destroyer due to some qualification differences : 1) He definitely has empathy, while a destroyer shouldn't be empathetic 2) Occult is nigh-omnicidal, not omnicidal. 3) Balth'Vahr does enjoy working together with other creatures, he tends to sincerely offer his allegiance to other villains.
- Complete Monster because he has shown some positive qualities, he has a very good relationship with his servants, he isn't likely to betray others, he isn't a liar, he wants to make friends… and many other reasons… Most importantly because he isn't meant to be a Complete Monster. Occult is a different type of villain.
List of categories with explanations why Occult is in them:[]
Anthropomorphic Characters : This character can be seen as a Mlp:FiM pony, as such he is a pony with anthropomorphic features, he can also make himself into an anthro Mlp:FiM Pony. Furthermore what he actually is can be described as Anthropomorphic destruction, darkness and similar things…
Alternative universe : Occult's start in the story is set in an alternative Mlp:FiM universe, furthermore the White Tahrahn is able to travel through alternative universes, multiverses, etc.
Dark Forms : The White Darkness has been correctly regarded as some sort of demonic force. He does have many dark powers and abilities. Demon Lord Occult isn't influenced by life stupidities (such as greed) nor is he affectable by any influences of the mind (he cannot be mind controlled in any way, he cannot be made actually crazy) His main cause for willingly doing evil is his sadism which is quite similar to malice.
Deal Makers : The White Darkness has been shown to make agreements with other creatures in the form of promises. These deals tend to be mutually beneficial. Occult is very likely to remain honourable and do his part of the agreement. He will most probably hold his end of the bargain unless the other side doesn't.
Genderless : The White Darkness is actually neither male nor female. This is most clear in his main form.
Genocidal : Occult has willingly exterminated various species purely for the sake of killing them all off in a painful and terrifying (to them) way. His first genocide was that of the elemental creatures of the original world he was from. While helping other villains throughout the multiverse, Balth'Vahr has often volunteered to cause massive horrible genocides. It should be noted that none of those genocides were committed out of hatred!
Honorable : Balth'Vahr has a relatively strong sense of honour. He tends to keep his promises. Occult does have some standards.
Leaders : Dark Lord Occult has many leadership qualities. He is very emphatic, he is able to think strategically, he knows how to encourage or inspire others and he is very good at working as a part of a team. Balth'Vahr is also the main leader of his vast armies.
Loyal : The White Tahrahn is a loyal individual. He is very unlikely to betray others, especially his servants. He despises treachery. He is a trustworthy ally, who tries to continuously make those who serve him useful, instead of getting rid of them when they run out of their usefulness. He is quite loyal to his promises even if keeping them is against some of his goals.
Mlp Villains : Dark Lord Occult counts as a Mlp Villain, although specifically he is a Mlp:FiM villain (specific generation with some clear differences)
Mongers : Occult has often purposefully induced fear and despair in others.
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic Villain : In his original world, Dark Lord Occult is a Mlp:FiM villain
Torturer : Occult enjoys tormenting others! He has tortured innumerable innocent creatures (of all ages and types) to death, mostly for fun. He has also encouraged his servants to torture many other creatures in similar ways. Balth'Vahr is always happy to torment some creatures.
Sadist : Dark Lord Occult is very sadistic. The joy he gets from making others to suffer seems to be one of the main things that encourages him to do evil. He has a very enthusiastic form of sadism that inspires the sadism of others, this is especially common with the servants of Balth'Vahr. The White Tahrahn has an admiration for the sadistic tendencies of others.
Shape-Shifters : The White Darkness has an unsurpassable control over its shape, size and weight. It has shown to use such capabilities during combat and peace.
Sophisticated : Velin's little pony is genuinely polite and even friendly… He sincerely has respect for others… He is a "good sport" in regards to losing in a fair way.
Successful : Balth'Vahr has achieved most of his goals and his main current goal is successfully ongoing.
Symbolic : Dark Lord Occult represents destruction as a thing (NOT someone that simply causes destruction, or is some sort of "god" of it, but destruction itself, the "essence" of it…), The ONLY proper way to defeat the White Tahrahn is with the power of friendship. Destruction DOESN'T get beaten by causing more destruction, it simply increases the amount of destruction or empowers Occult in other words. Balth'Vahr gains power from the destruction and destructiveness (potential for causing destruction).
Universal Threats : Balth'Vahr has been shown to be able to destroy entire multiverses (clusters of alternative universes) on his own, it is also known that two of his original existences are responsible for painfully destroying multiverses (uncountable number of alternative universes). His endless conquest for the sake of sadism has motivated him to destroy countless universes (this is with his vast armies).
Warlord : The White Tahrahn has vast armies of loyal servants with whom he enjoys making endless conquests, so that they could cause destruction and torture creatures. Occult has been shown enjoying wars and their results.
Would hurt a child : Occult has personally tortured innumerable amounts of children to death. In addition, all of Occult's original existences are responsible for murdering children in painful ways (Drahsa has beaten and starved hundreds of children to death; O'cult has made multiple children kill themselves, he has also mutilated and decapitated many young creatures; 'multiversal darkness and dark energy' has caused uncountable deaths of children, same goes for the essence of destruction.) Balth'Vahr is more against lying than against tormenting innocent creatures.
Affably Evil : Despite being sadistic and nigh-omnicidal, the White Darkness is sincerely friendly and polite to others. He has a sense of honor and genuinely wants to make friends.
Mind-breakers : Occult is responsible for purposefully making many creatures mentally unstable. One of the ways Balth'Vahr was able to transform and corrupt the last wind ponies of his original world into the first dire Wendigos was by making them insane through torment. He is also known for torturing some beings to the point they were willing to end their own existence. There have been cases of creatures going mad out of pure terror and despair that were caused by Occult and his actions or the actions of his servants.
One-Man Army : Balth'Vahr has been shown to be able to fight against powerful armies(each member of which is capable of destroying planets), multiple cosmic beings at once… To be honest he is automatically more powerful than any army(or a silly idiot such as destroyers etc) that would face him because of what he is and what he symbolises… He is responsible for destroying entire universes, of course there were many armies that were defending themselves and their homes. Occult's original existences also fit this category ( Drahsa, without her magic, was able to fight an entire army of untiring fast-moving undead some of which had magic; She was also able to fight against bands of trolls and simple dragons). Balth'Vahr could have been a "Destroyer" but the he doesn't fit two requirements
Charismatic : The White Tahrahn definitely has charisma. He has the ability to gain trust and make friends.
Reality Butchers : One of Occult's original existences known as 'Multiversal darkness and dark energy' is responsible for "consuming"(the only proper equivalent word) and destroying a uniquely large multiverse and causing a lot of something that was beyond sadness while doing that.
Villains that inspired this villain; Similarities and differences to those and other villains[]
Dark Lord Morgoth Bauglir (Middle-Earth) :[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are Dark Lords; Both are fully aware that they are on the side of incorrect evil in their stories, neither of them see themselves as "the good side/the hero" of the stories they are in; Both can't actually create life so they make servants by modifying living creatures; Both were punished by being banished to infinite voids; Both are responsible for ruining creatures into worse form (orcs by Morgoth, Wendigos by Occult). Both have some similar Alias because Bauglir was an inspiration for Balth'Vahr;
DIFFERENCES : Unlike Occult, Bauglir had a very negative relationship with his servants (slaves). Unlike Morgoth, the White Tahrahn doesn't have an inherent hatred for all of creation, Occult tortures creatures and causes destruction purely because he enjoys doing that. Morgoth can be harmed by heat, at least by the heat of stars. Morgoth was omnimalevolent, that is absolutely evil. Bauglir doesn't seek to make friends.
Dark Lord Sauron, Mairon (Middle-Earth) :[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are Dark Lords, both have the power of nigh-omnimalevolence, both are known to personally torture creatures despite having servants to do it; Both have some sort of power over ghosts, souls and spirits. Both have control over vast armies. Both use the power of shapesifting; Both are very powerful knights in combat.
DIFFERENCES : Mairon had a uniquely strong desire to enslave everyone with the goal of establishing order… He was into enslaving others. Occult was more of a combatant he also had more honour... Sauron is more dishonest.
Unicron (The Transformers the movie 1986) :[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are able to destroy planets by their pure strength; Both seem to cause despair. Both tend to make beneficial (for both sides) agreements with those that are supposed to become their servants/allies. Both are quite honest.
DIFFERENCES : Occult's main form isn't the size of a small planet. Unicron isn't that much of a shapeshiter nor is he an amry leader.
Aku (Samurai Jack) :[]
SIMILARITIES : both can be described as "Shapeshifting masters of Darkness/Evil", both are very capable of shapeshifting especially to monstrous versions of creatures, both make their limbs into weapons or make additional useful limbs. Both have their transformations limited by colours, although Velin's lapdog is slightly less limited in this department. Both were able to trick the good side of their stories by "becoming" their female alter egos (Aku as Ikra, while Occult as Zheenya). Both have vast armies. Both are beings of immense power and use it to do evil. Neither can be influenced by main natural life things (they both don't need to eat, sleep, drink, etc). Both had a previous existence as some sort of Evil Darkness (Aku's previous incarnation as The Black Mass; one of Occult's original existences was a multiversal darkness and dark energy). Both enjoy torturing (innocent) creatures. Both are known for causing terror and suffering.
DIFFERENCES : Unlike Balth'Vahr, Aku is not honourable, he is likely to lie and to betray, even breaking his promises, however he is likely to play according to the rules at least at first (when hehadro duel in human form, he didn't take a form of a gigantic human). Aku is often rude to/about his opponents, while Occult tends to be polite. The White Tahrahn is mainly white in colour while Aku is mainly black. Aku's main form seems to be somewhat humanoid, while Occult's main form is a Mlp:FiM style pony. Unlike Aku, the White Tahrahn is always uniquely supersolid while the Deliverer of Darkness is less tough than metallic weapons, he is often something similar to flaming goo with some hard parts. If Aku shapeshifts into a winged creature he can fly, while Occult doesn't gain the ability to fly by transforming into a creature that can because of how he more more capable of making destructive rather than normal forces, as such the "wind" caused by what he has for wings doesn't cause a pushback for him. Aku talks a lot. Occult tends to be a lot more serious. Aku can have children and even make parts of himself into armies, the White Darkness can do neither. Aku can be worn out, while Occult's stamina is completely inexhaustible.
Darth Vader (Star Wars) :[]
SIMILARITIES : Both had unpleasant upbringings during their original lives (Vader grew up as a slave, while Occult had an abusive childhood as Drahsa); Both have good relationship with their soldiers (in lore,Vader had a good relationship with his soldiers/troopers, but different to officials who hated/feared him); Both played a big part in getting the good side to win against a more evil villain (Palpatine for Vader; Omnicide for Occult). Both have a somewhat dark sense of humour.
DIFFERENCES : Vader regretted killing (a few) innocent children, Balth'Vahr happily tortured an uncountable number of such creatures to death. Velin's lapdog wasn't "haunted" by past regrets. Vader is known for his black armor, while Occult's armor mainly has the colours of silver.
The Lich (Adventure Time)[]
SIMILARITIES : Both were correctly compared to machines without purposes when they were in situations in which they couldn't do their main hobbies (killing all life for the Lich; torturing and causing destruction for Occult); Both seem to have some type of absolute existence. Both are capable of possession. Both can be properly described as antilife.
DIFFERENCES : Lich has been shown to use direct mind control; Occult actually wants to make friends. The Lich is very likely to betray those who help him (it would be out of characrer for the Lich to not want to kill someone), while Occult wants to remain loyal.
Cthulhu (Lovecraft) :[]
SIMILARITIES :
DIFFERENCES :
Freddy Krueger (Nightmare on Elm Street)[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are responsible for killing children in the dreams of those young creatures. Both gain power from fear.
DIFFERENCES : Unlike the The White Tahrahn, Freddy uses rude language, he swears very often. Krueger is mostly powerless outside the dreams of his victims. In total, original Freddy Krueger directly kills about 49 children in the dreams and about 20 during his child murderer career, so 69 victims or 73 (if ~20 = 24)... Freddy Krueger had a weird sexual attraction to children… Occult doesn't feel any sexual attraction, he is asexual. The Demon Lord's main form is similar to a Mlp:Fim pony, while Freddy is simply a human with a few demons. Krueger is eternal and even immortal, while Occult is utterly amortal.
Sargeras (Warcraft)[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are responsible for establishing vast armies for destruction of countless worlds. The strenght of both of them was described as making the might of a hundred dragons looks insignificant by comparison. Both are very powerful at dark magic.
DIFFERENCES : They both have very different reasons for causing the destruction of so many worlds. Occult can invade worlds, univereses and multiverses much faster.
Kil'Jaeden (Warcraft)[]
SIMILARITIES : Both are known for seemingly tolerating failures of their servants more than some other villains do, at least if it isn't a complete failure or a betrayal; Both are know for changing their sizes. Both comand destructive demon armies;
DIFFERENCES : Kil'Jaeden is known as the Deceiver, a title wich would not fit the White Darkness. Some of the crimes done by the red Eradar were made out of fear, despair or hatred, such as many genocides, the White Lord of Darkness hasn't done crimes for those reasons; Kil'Jaeden has claimed to be someone else not of himself, while Occult, even when being an alter ego, would make himself into a new creature;
(original)Anti-Monitor (DC comics) :[]
SIMILARITIES : Both have personally destroyed many alternative/parallel universes, as such they are both able to travel between alternative universes and even muktiverses; Both are capable of being various sizes; Both can create and manipulate antimatter; Both can be correctly described as embodiments of antimatter; Both have the power to uniquely empower other creatures(Although Occult is better at making those creatures able to control that power); Both have some sort of inexhaustible stamina; Both are responsible for torturing and transforming beings with power over wind into more destructive versions of themselves for destructive purposes (Anti-Monitor with Red Tornado , Balth'Vahr while transforming the last elemental wind ponies to Wendigos); Both have shown some form admiration for those heroic that were able to stand them(Anti-Monitor was able to do this once, he also shown admiration for Flash when he resisted powers of emotion control by another villain).
DIFFERENCES : the Anti-Monitor often consumes universes, Balth'Vahr only destroys them, most often for fun. Anti-Monitor has the power of reality warping, while Occult has immunity to that. The Anti-Monitor's main form doesn't look similar to a Mlp:Fim pony.
