Dark Samus is the main antagonist and singer of Brinstar Depths, a part of Man on the Internet's Smash Bros Musical Bytes. She is the dark, parasitic copy of Samus Aran that intends to assimilate everything in the universe as part of her will. After infecting Samus with Phazon, Dark Samus tries to make her another extension, trying to break her will in order to corrupt her more easily.
She is voiced by Kylie Ann.
Biography[]
Not too much is known about Dark Samus's past, but it is known that she is a parasitic copy of Samus Aran that at some point came into existence after a parasite clung onto Samus in the past. At some point in time, Samus and Dark Samus would confront each other after Dark Samus had collected Phazon, which Dark Samus would infect her with.
Dark Samus would try to break Samus's will, telling her that she couldn't resist her and that she would become one with her, leaving her "dry and drained" and that everything else in the universe would too. Samus would continue to try to fight Dark Samus's corruption off, but she would continue to try to break her, telling her to give up and stop resisting.
Before either could stop each other, the song would end, leaving their fates ambiguous.

Dark Samus is a ruthless parasite who intends to take over the entire universe via infection, intending to corrupt trillions of people to become extensions of her will and that anybody who would dare to fight her off would be destroyed, claiming they were not worth the struggle. When Samus tries to fight off her infection, she begins to try break her into giving up, telling her to give up her heart and soul in order to become one with her. When she begins struggles, she taunts even further by outright telling her that she cannot resist her. She also appears to have some hint of sadism, as she states that she will take pleasure from the pain of her victims after draining them.
Overall, Dark Samus seems to view herself really highly, believing that everything should be one within her as she views everyone else as empty. She doesn't really seem to care about the entire fact that her actions would endanger every world and believes that there will be some kind of reconstruction after everything becomes one within her and that everyone will believe in her own philosophy.
