Sith? No, I am not Sith, but I am not Jedi either. We are something greater. Something more powerful. Something forged to bring balance and stability to the galaxy.
~ Darth Secuulus to Darth Nihilus.
I admire your determination, but the dark side has only one path for you here... sacrifice. When weakness is removed, there is room for strength to be added. Where your body is broken, the dark side can restore it with power. You've taken your first steps in the darkness, but your journey has just begun. Among the Sith, I am known as Darth Secuulus, but to you, I will simply be known as master.
~ Darth Secuulus after cutting off Bao-Dur's arm.

Darth Secuulus is the secondary antagonist of the 2016 film Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: Hunger for the Force and a minor antagonist in the 2021 series Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic III: Shadow of the Sith.

He was a Sith Lord who served Darth Revan during the Jedi Civil War, who eventually became the overseer of the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, and a servant of Sith Emperor Vitiate. During that time, he taught many Sith acolytes and was the master of both Darth Nihilus and Bao-Dur at certain points in time, helping the latter in his mission to return the True Sith to power and conquer the Galactic Republic, while also later serving Nihilus as his apprentice.

He was voiced by Brandon Twigg.

Biography[]

Early life[]

A man was a possible follower of Revan during the Mandalorian Wars. He eventually turned to the Dark Side and witnessed as Revan and Malak became Sith Lords. Revan created his own Sith Empire, and trained the man as his disciple. Secuulas completed his training, becoming a Sith Lord, and was eventually named "Darth Secuulas." He was tasked by Revan to train many Sith in the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, following the Mandalorian Wars. However, Secuulas eventually came to serve the Sith Emperor Vitiate.

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II: Hunger for the Force[]

Eventually, an unidentified man, who was a Jedi who survived the devastation of Malachor V, was taken into the Trayus Academy. There, Secuulas met the man, and told him that it was his destiny to become a Sith. The two dueled, but the hunger was consuming the man. Secuulas told the man that he is a Wound in the Force, that the effects of the devastation of Malachor V corrupted him, and that the Dark Side was already corrupting him. The man got more weakened, as the hunger for the Force was consuming him. Secuulas finally convinced the man to join the academy, and the man drained the Force out of every assassin he trained with.

Eventually, the Sith Triumvirate was formed, ruled by three Sith Lords. Darths Sion, Traya, and Nihilus. However, everything fell apart, Traya was betrayed and exiled by her students, and the Sith Triumvirate split, one followed Sion and the other Nihilus. Secuulas however, continued what he has been doing, training Sith at the Trayus Academy, and continued to serve the Sith Emperor Vitiate.
