Anakin Skywalker, later known as Darth Vader is the secondary antagonist of What if Order 66 Failed?, which is a fanfic by the popular Star Wars YouTube channel, Star Wars Theory.
Much like his original counterpart, he is a fallen Jedi Knight who turned to the Dark Side toward the end of the Clone Wars after having visions of his wife dying, joining Palpatine and becoming his newest apprentice. He would become his main enforcer, going to eliminate anyone who posed threat to him, including the Jedi.
Biography[]
Much like his original counterpart, after saving Palpatine from being killed by Mace Windu, Anakin would join Palpatine's side to keep his pregnant wife, Padme, safe. Palpatine would give him the new name of Darth Vader and would immediately order Vader to head to the Jedi and wipe out everyone there.
Vader would lead the clones to the Jedi Temple and begin killing everyone there, whether that be Jedi Masters or even the younglings. When Vader would leave to Mustafar to go handle the Separatist leaders, however, the Jedi would begin to take the upper hand against the clones and kill them off, defending the temple and any other survivors.
When Padme came to Mustafar, Anakin noticed that she had come with Obi-Wan Kenboi and Plo Koon as they stood in the plank of her ship, leaving the Sith apprentice furious. When Anakin began force choking her, Plo would come in and shock Vader with his force judgment, allowing him to let her go. Padme would run to Obi-Wan, continuing to make Vader furious. Soon, the two Jedi Masters and the fallen Jedi Knight would duel each other on Mustafar. While it was intense, Vader would soon be defeated after Plo Koon would once again shock him with a powerful amount of force judgment.
Upon his defeat on Mustafar, Vader would be arrested by the Jedi and forced to stand trial for his role in the attempted eradication of the Jedi. After viewing security footage of Anakin's role in the Jedi Temple massacre, Vader would be sentenced to a life in prison. Despite his fall, Anakin's wife, Padme would give birth to their two children just fine, and soon be trained in the Jedi Temple.

Trivia[]
- While the video does end with Anakin being freed by Jar Jar Binks, Star Wars Theory seems to make it pretty clear that wasn't meant to be an actual sequel hook or even canon, and nothing more than a small joke.
- Despite this, he has talked about potentially having Anakin break out of his imprisonment in a future sequel.
