Dashie is the titular main protagonist of the DashieXP YouTube channel, a skit channel run and produced by Charlie Guzman, more commonly known by his online alias DashieXP or simply Dashie.

He is a fictionalized version of real life Dashie, who often appears alongside his friends, including other popular YouTubers like TPindell, Tim Chantarangsu, and even celebrities like John Witherspoon, voice of Robert Freeman AKA Granddad from the adult animated series The Boondocks.

He is portrayed by Charlie Guzman, who also portrayed Barney the Dinosaur and Ghetto Chef from the same channel.

Biography

Overview

Little is known about Dashie's personal life. Outside of a few appearances from his dad, girlfriends/love interests, and friends/former friends, we never learn much about who Dashie is outside the persona of a shameless con artist who engages in various deceptive and morally questionable behavior for personal gain or entertainment.

Barney the Dinosaur

He does, however, have a notable rivalry with Barney the Dinosaur. Not much is known about his they became friends, if they were ever even friends to begin with, but the conflict started in "Unwanted Quest". In it, Dashie's world gets turned upside down when Barney, of all characters, shows up at his door asking to crash for a bit. Despite feeling uneasy, Dashie lets Barney in, only to regret it as Barney starts making demands, like wanting a sandwich. When Dashie refuses, things get intense, with gunshots and a frantic call to 911. But Barney's not backing down, and Dashie's in for a wild ride, trying to stay safe.

Meanwhile, Dashie's friend Dennis gets caught up in a crazy situation involving not just Barney but also Jason Voorhees and a Bop-It toy. Dennis tries to fight back but ends up in a tragic showdown with Barney. At the same time, DeShawn experiences firsthand the scary side of Barney when he witnesses the dinosaur's violent behavior. DeShawn tries to escape but ends up during Barney's fury.

"GHETTO ____" Series

From posing as a fraudulent driver instructor in GHETTO DRIVER INSTRUCER to exploiting his role as a substitute teacher to harass students in GHETTO TEACHER, his antics highlight his selfish and manipulative nature. He also demonstrates his lack of regard for others' well-being by scamming viewers with overpriced merchandise, as seen in his GHETTO CHEF series, engaging in reckless activities involving weapons and explosives, and exhibiting predatory behavior towards women.

• In GHETTO DRIVER INSTRUCTOR, Dashie poses as a licensed instructor and puts a student driver in dangerous situations, including confronting his ex-girlfriend's father with a shotgun.

• In GHETTO VIDEO STORE, Dashie frequently mistreats customers, acting very rudely and dismissive of their problems. He also helped a customer shoplift just to spite his manager. And after the store shut down, he and his manager conspired to burn the place down and commit insurance fraud together.
