The Tin King Datascos is the ruler of the Mech Kingdom and a major antagonist of the videogame Demon King's Heir.
Biography[]
Datascos was first created as the Dämon Tactics and Countermeasures Study, an algorithm requested by the king of Heldenland designed to calculate the best way to counter the guerrilla tactics used by his enemies from the enemy country of Dämonland. However, its slow performance made the king to consider it a failure, have the project calcelled and the algorithm destroyed so it would never fall into enemy hands. However, the head of the project still saw potential in it and decided to build a lab on an island near the kingdom where he could work on improvements on the algorithm to the point of turning it into an artificial intelligence. Years later, with his last breath, the scientists ordered the AI to show both Heldenland and Dämonland what it was capable of.
After that, the AI managed to build itself a body and then other androids subordinates. Over time, the island became a secret kingdom ruled by the AI, who renamed himself as Datascos the Tin King.
Nearly obsessed with improving himself and his army to become like the helden and dämon soldiers, Datascos began researching emotions, taking a special interest in love. Hoping to learn how to feel love, Datascos built himself a ginoid daughter called Qwerty, engaging in various parenting activities with her like playing or reading her fairy tales. However, Datascos ended up not feeling anything and abandoned the project and Qwerty.
He also began sending scouts to the main continent to spy on the war between humans and monsters. During the final battle in the Heldenland capital, Datascos had one of his generals steal the legendary sword Legendia in order to use its unlimited magic power to power up his mechanical army.
Over the next year, Datascos also sent his troops to raid the mana crystal mines so he could give magic powers to his army by welding those crystals on their bodies. However, one of those troops ended up being ambushed by Shogun's unit and destroyed. Then, one of the foot soldiers got reprogrammed into serving the now allied Heldenland and Dämonland, and lead them to the Mech Kingdom so they could take back the Legendia.
Once they set foot into his domain, Datascos sent his army after them, but they managed to take over the main factory and build a new badge of robot soldiers on their side with the help of Qwerty, who wanted to take revenge against Datascos for abandoning her. With their new allies, Shogun's unit managed to attack Datascos' fortress at Castle Chessgear, and while he tried to divide them and lure them into various traps, the Tin King was ultimately destroyed.
