David Tyler Carilli is the main antagonist of the David Gets Grounded series created by RyantheTeenBoy2K7, under the aliases of Cornelius McDonald and Thomas Booth. He also appeared in its unofficial sequel David Carilli goes to Court, Disowned, and Sentenced for the Murder of his Sister from his "Prank".
He is a young boy who enjoys pranking his older sister in various ways that caused her to get injured. However, his silica poison prank would result in Kristina's death and subsequently his arrest and imprisonement.
Appearance[]
David is a 14 year old boy who has light brown hair, and a light skin tone. He also wears a orange and white T-shirt with blue trousers. He also has teal trainers. Additionally, he has thick eyebrows.
Biography[]
David ruins his sisters prom night[]
He first appears when he is sitting on the floor next to the stairs on his mobile phone. He is playing Angry Birds which he enjoys playing before he walks up the stairs to his bedroom. He later reappears when he has beaten a level, much to his delight, and comes out of his bedroom, watching his older sister going down the stairs. He finds it awkward and weird she is attending her prom and thinks of a prank to do since it finds it funny. He plans to use ropes to whoop her down the stairs as a prank. To do so, he goes into his bedroom to get the rope and runs towards the staircase.
While his father is busy taking pictures of Kristina wearing her prom dress, David stands behind her. As she walks down the stairs, he throws her, causing her to fall down and scream in pain, which he finds hilarious. He then runs to his bedroom. Unfortunately for him, his father informs his sister that he saw him coming up with a prank by using one of his ropes to whoop her down the stairs, knowing that he was behind that prank and that he will be grounded and punished for it.
In his bedroom, David is still laughing about the prank before his father furiously storms into his bedroom and beats him up with a bat as his punishment. While his father and sister are at the hospital, Officers Joey and Thomas Kopenstein he apologises to them for hurting his sister as it was supposed to be a prank and that he won’t do it again. However, he gets reprimanded by Officer Kopenstein, saying that whooping and pranking his sister down the stairs wasn’t the right thing to do and that he should be ashamed of himself as Kristina is now angry with him due to her suffering a broken arm because of his pranks. Officer Joey says that the prank was harmful and that he will be imprisoned in his bedroom as his punishment, until Kristina and Henry return home.
The next scene takes place in the living room as David apologizes to his sister for whooping her down the stairs as a prank and that it was funny. However, she denies it as she didn’t find it funny as he made her suffer a lot by breaking her arm. When her arm is healed, she will beat him up before his father sends him to his room as he was still grounded.
Six weeks after the accident, Kristina gets revenge on her younger brother as she angrily yells at him, while Henry records it on his mobile phone. She then beats him up, making him yell out in agony. Afterwards, he is grounded for a week before he gets sent to his bedroom, crying and apologizing to them, saying that he won’t do it again as he learned his lesson.
David Pulls a Power Outage Prank[]
The episode takes place in David’s bedroom. He is on his mobile phone before he suddenly comes up with an idea. Since it is night time, he is planning to pull a power outage prank inside the whole house. He runs down the stairs and goes into the garage where he turns off the electricity via the fuse box whilst his sister is in her bedroom reading her book which makes him laugh. He then does it a second time after Kristina walks down the stairs talking with her father. They walk to the kitchen asking where David is, but Henry isn’t sure.
It cuts back to the garage where he is laughing saying he will pull one more power cut which he does. Kristina screams which results in her being reprimanded and she is left scared. Suddenly, David emerges laughing and his father asks him why he was laughing and scheming. He asks why the power went out three times and that both Henry and Kristina were pranked and that there was no storm as it was only a prank. He reveals that used the fuse box in the garage to shut off the power as a prank.
In the hallway, he gets reprimanded saying that touching fuse boxes are dangerous and that he traumatised Kristina leaving her angry. She confronts him asking him what is wrong with him as she could have tripped, left hurt on the floor and she couldn’t see. She then scolds him, saying he should have never done that as he left her scared. He attempts to apologize to her and his father by promising that he will never do it again, before Henry sends him upstairs to his room.
David's Booby Trap Prank[]
The episode also starts off in David’s bedroom but instead of sitting on his bed, he is sat on his computer chair thinking about his next prank admitting he is one hilarious boy. Eventually he thinks of one as he plans to set booby traps on his sister remarking it will be funny. He defecates on the floor, sets up a hammer drop in the bathroom, rope falling on the staircase and placing ornaments on the floor. He then runs upstairs when Kristina walks in his own faeces, gets hit by a hammer in the bathroom, falls down the stairs causing the ornaments to break whilst David laughs at her. He then runs away when Henry asks her what happened. He then checks the security cameras to find out the culprit leaving him furious and that he is getting on Kristina’s nerves as she asks why he keeps on doing this to her.
In the garage Henry scolds him as he saw on camera that he did a booby trap prank and that he was caught red handed. He gets asked why he did that as he set booby traps on Kristina for fun saying it was a prank and a joke as it was supposed to be funny, however Henry beats him up apologising to him admitting he won’t do it again as it was supposed to be a fun prank.
After Kristina and Henry arrive back home from the hospital David is grounded for three weeks. He is also prohibited from watching TV, playing video games, going on his mobile phone, nothing as what he did to Kristina was wrong as she has to have a cast on her face and feet for three days and that he shouldn’t be doing booby trap pranks like that. He attempts to apologise to them saying it was only meant for fun and laughter and he won’t do it again, but Kristina rejects it saying he needs to stop with the pranks as she was very angry with him before she storms off to her bedroom. He then gets told to stay in his bedroom and not to mess with Kristina again, afterward he asks why everyone takes his pranks seriously as they hurt his feelings before he lies on his bed.
David pranks his sister with Silica Poison[]
In the final episode, David is sitting on the stairs, feeling bored as there was nothing for him to do before he thinks about an idea. He eventually comes up with an idea. Since he was a big prankster, he plans to trick his older sister by putting silica gel in her drink, thinking it will be funny. He then goes into the kitchen where he finds a sachet of silica gel which he places inside his pocket before running up the staircase as he will only do it when she isn’t there.
In her bedroom, Kristina has been to McDonald’s for dinner and still has her drink with her. She then gets up to go to the toilet as David then pours the silica gel into her drink, before running out. A few minutes later, Kristina returns from the bathroom, takes a sip of her drink, only to wonder what has gotten inside her body. She clutches her chest in pain and holds her stomach before she collapses. By the time Henry arrives upstairs after hearing her scream, he tries to revive her but she unfortunately passes away, leaving him devastated.
The next day, David and Henry go out for a meal which he enjoys, but Henry is still grieving about Kristina’s death. He checks out the security cameras after they arrive home. In his bedroom, David reveals he is having a peaceful time watching Family Guy on TV, but his peace is shattered when Henry enters his bedroom, furious about him poisoning his own sister with silica gel, catching him red handed before telling him that he will be sent to a mental hospital. Henry then knocks him out before the next scene takes place in the car.
He eventually regains consciousness as Henry yells at him about witnessing him putting silica gel in Kristina’s drink and what was wrong with him about doing such a thing. He then says that it doesn’t matter whether it was only a prank and that he should be ashamed of himself, before he gets told to leave the car as he was no longer part of Henry’s life. He complies as he watches his father drive away, leaving him crying outside the mental hospital. A staff member arrives to take him inside, where he then wears a hospital gown, sitting on the bed crying as the episode ends.
David Carilli goes to Court, Disowned, and Sentenced for the Murder of his Sister from his "Prank"[]

It starts off with David sitting on the bed in the mental hospital crying about his father sending him there all for putting silica gel in Kristina’s drink. He says it was only supposed to be a prank and it was supposed to be funny. He wonders why his father has to take them seriously as he hurt his feelings. The staff member has been notified that he will be going to court today.
He says it was only a prank and that he didn’t murder Kristina as he was hoping she will be fine and it was supposed to be funny as he has no reason to go to court. The member reprimands him for his excuse saying that Kristina was dead and that David murdered her saying his prank wasn’t funny before the staff member gets in the car and drives herself and David to court.
The next scene takes place in the courtroom where the judge tells him he is standing trial. Not only is he facing a murder charge but he also injured Kristina with his dangerous pranks. He pleads not guilty saying they were only supposed to be a prank and it was supposed to be funny. He also asks why people have to take them too seriously saying they are hurting his feelings. The judge reprimands him saying he should realise his pranks were harmful and it must be taken seriously. Due to him not pleading guilty he calls Henry to the stand. He describes David as the most insane and worst son in the family as he has been doing the pranks to him and Kristina 24/7 as he broke her arm by using a rope to whoop her down the stairs on the night of her prom. Another time he messed with the fuse box by turning the power on and off as a prank causing Kristina to be traumatised and that he should have realised it was very dangerous. Henry suspected a storm was to blame, except it wasn’t.
Another time, David did another dangerous prank as he defecated on the floor, placing a bag of hammers in the bathroom, setting ropes by the staircase and placing ornaments on the floor whilst Henry explains the details leaving Kristina with cuts on her face and feet. He had to take her to the hospital with the doctors putting a cast, but the worst thing he did was putting silica gel in her drink when she wasn’t looking which caused her death saying the prank wasn’t funny and that Henry misses his daughter and that her life was ruined due to his troublemaking son saying he has had enough of him as the evidence he already presented was on security camera before he pleads him guilty for everything he has done to him and Kristina as he hopes never to see him again.
The judge then calls Kristina’s friends, her boyfriend Michael Jordan, Denzel Wilburn, Kristina’s teacher and Principal John Ramsay, the two hospital members and Officers Joey and Thomas Kopenstein as witnesses. Afterwards, the jury find David guilty, making him cry andd pleading his innocence as well as asking them why they have to take his pranks too seriously as they have hurt his feelings, saying his pranks were supposed to be funny and a joke, but both the jury and the judge boo him. One of the jury members reprimands him, saying the prank wasn’t funny and that it must be taken seriously as he killed his own sister with silica gel and that he should realize it is dangerous and could kill someone. For this, the rest of the jury are very angry with him, saying they are nothing but hazardous and that he should be ashamed of himself.
Afterwards, the judge agrees with everyone, including David’s father, and that for what he did to Kristina by murdering her and other dangerous pranks, he would be sentenced to 25 years in a psychiatric hospital as he will be placed in a padded cell as he will be wearing a strait jacket to avoid him harming other people with his pranks which also includes systematic desensitizing therapy to remove his opinion on dangerous pranks, making him stamp his feet crying, saying the judge has no right to do this to him and pleads with him not to have the therapist taking his like of pranks away, saying that he loves to do them and that he doesn’t want to spend his years in a psychiatric hospital saying he was sorry for what he did.
However, the judge says it was for his own good as he should have thought about that before he killed Kristina as he hopes that all this will change his life and reflect on his actions until he is released. Before he is escorted out, Henry emerges, saying that he forgot to do something the other day when he dropped David off at the mental hospital, He disowns him from the family, putting him in jeopardy since he misses Kristina beforeDavid killing her and if his mother was still alive, she would be angry with him to and that he never wants to see his face ever again.
He then walks away with David pleading his father not to leave him, saying that he was sorry for what he did and promises that he won’t do it again, telling him to come back. However, the staff member tells him it was too late, saying that it was his own fault as he should have thought about that in the first place. The judge agrees with her as he orders her to escort David out of the courtroom and to the psychiatric hospital for his lesson. She then takes him by the hand before telling him that his padded cell is waiting.
After getting his straitjacket on and entering the padded cell, the staff member tells David that it will be his new home for the next 25 years. She informs him that she works here, as her shift starts at 3pm with the desensitizing therapist visiting him every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. She tells him to enjoy being here and reflect on his actions, also mentioning that she will be back in 30 minutes to bring him his dinner. Afterwards, David cries about his life being over as he will spend the next 25 years, criticizing the people who took his pranks too seriously as the desensitizing therapist will make him lose interest in pranks and that he doesn’t want to as he is planning to lie on his bed until his sentence is up and that he will hate his life.
