Wade Winston Wilson, also known as Deadpool, is one of the two titular villainous protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE episode, "Deadpool VS Deathstroke," and the titular main antagonist of "Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie" and "Deadpool VS Mask," He is a mercenary from Marvel Comics who was initially brought to Death Battle to fight Deathstroke. However, Deadpool gained infamy from the show's hosts Wizard and Boomstick when he started annoying them with his 4th wall awareness. He was later invited to the show again to fight Pinkie Pie, which ended with the two becoming best friends and only cementing Deadpool's infamy even further. He was brought back again to "fight" The Mask in an attempt to get rid of him once and for all. He is the arch nemesis of Wizard, Boomstick, and Deathstroke, and the best friend of Pinkie Pie. He is also presumably on good terms with The Mask.

He is voiced by Curtis Arnot, who also voiced Shadow and Alucard.

Personality

Deadpool is an obnoxious and seemingly incompetent mercenary who kills while bad-mouthing his enemies. Even without his 4th wall breaking, he can come across as very annoying, talkative, and goofy, such as fighting by dancing or making "bang!" noises when he shoots.

During the analysis, Deadpool has a frequency to annoy and even harass Wiz and Boomstick whenever he is being talked about, or even when he is slightly offhandedly mentioned. He greatly enjoys messing with the two, making crude jokes about them, teasing them, or calling them names. He is also shown to be a good manipulator, as in "Deadpool VS Mask," when he realized he was in the fight to be killed, he managed to work with The Mask to send the Continuity Gem and a note to Wiz and Boomstick after the fight would be over. There, he would manipulate the host by guilting them about getting him killed.

History

Deadpool VS Deathstroke

Deadpool makes his speaking appearance when he interrupts his analysis from Boomstick and Wizard who say his name and couldn't help but saying it, he then lets them continue out of praise, he then goes off to explain his favorite weapons after interrupting again, leading to Boomstick scaring him away by attempting to shoot him. And at the end of his analysis, Deadpool scares Wizard and Boomstick with his naked picture. During Deathstroke's analysis, Deadpool vandalizes an image of Deathstroke. During the battle, Deadpool's sees Deathstroke's wanted poster being worth more than his own wanted poster that was spotted by Deathstroke, he then realizes Deathstroke and begins to fire at the latter, even beginning the fight himself as he continues to fire his metal jackets, Deadpool teleports behind Deathstroke and combos his moves. later Deadpool gets hit by oncoming traffic trying to find Deathstroke, until reaching the top of the truck he sees Deathstroke and warns the driver to keep going fast while his combatant fires weapons at him, After being told that he was predictable for his loud mouth, he began to have a "dance battle" while instinctly and casually dodging Deathstroke with ease. Soon Deathstroke shoots the vehicle which Deadpool teleports away to lunge towards his enemy at a great height as they continued to battle on the sky. Deadpool was soon shot at in the sky and used his teleporting abilities to steal Deathstroke's sword and impales him with it, while leaving the traffic surrounding the blaze, Deadpool sees that he accidentally attaches his arm and puts his right body parts back while Deathstroke gets up along with Deadpool by getting his chromiun sword, Deadpool manages to blind Deathstroke during their clash with a pistol and decapitate him. At the end of the battle, he drives in his car with Deathstroke's head and breaks the fourth wall commenting about the results.

Deadpool VS Pinkie Pie

Deadpool appears when he was invited again to face off against his second combatant, Pinkie Pie. He breaks the fourth wall as Wiz and Boomstick were about to skip his story, the two tried to ignore him, but Deadpool kept showing up and covering the majority of his explanation. As Wizard demonstrated the audience by erasing Deadpool with an eraser as he moves on. When the battle animation starts, Deadpool falls in the forests of Ponyville at the beginning of the fight as he comments on the situation, Deadpool interrupts her welcome song, leading to a battle of a lesser extent, as Deadpool reaches for a youtube views blue bar as a lightsaber and Pinkie Pie using an add as a shield, leading to Deadpool calling off the fight after realizing they share the same awareness. Both Deadpool and Pinkies Pie infiltrate other Death Battles, first with Captain America, then Terry's battle with Ken with a dance off, next with Ramona Flowers and Amy, Deadpool then looks at the "Hulk and Doomsday Live Action" video, Deadpool crashes the meeting in the real world and insults the producers and actors to pull him into another death battle on his birthday, leading to him being taken away back to Ponyville by Pinkie Pie to celebrate.

Ghost Rider VS Lobo

Deadpool appears in a cameo when Boomstick compares him with Superman, Deadpool appears in the screen, much to the horror of Wiz and Boomstick, leading to Wizard to smash the screen out of fear, But Deadpool becomes a disembodied voice and taunts the two before leaving.

Deadpool VS Mask

Deadpool appears again while explaining his analysis, in a TV screen. Deadpool starts the battle by stealing the mask of Loki before accidentally crashing into a subway and putting the mask onto a person (offscreen) summoning his opponent as they fight through their wacky abilities of breaking the fourth wall.

Trivia

• According to the Death Battle canon, Deadpool's birthday was on the release of his fight against Pinkie Pie.
  • His birthday is actually on November 22nd, while the battle came out on December 21st.
• Deadpool claims "you can't have a Death Battle season without Deadpool." However, seasons 1, 4, 7, 9, 10, and Death Battle '24 do not feature him outside of name drops in the analysis.
