Demetria Devonne Lovato is the main antagonist of the question of the Aeyen The Lobster Canon of The Bloody Choice Game called Spaced Apart, she is a famous musician, being a parodied version of the real life musician of the same name, who appears as one of the celebrities on the Frogtor Ship. Her status is dependent on the options picked by the viewer.

Background

With Frogtor being tired of the world, following the end of 2021, he decides to escape the potential horrors of 2022 by flying in a spaceship and deciding to live in space. Other celebrities decided to go onto Frogtor's spaceship as well, including famous (fictional) internet commentator Great Gold, commentary YouTuber SunnyV2, DramaAlert member Keemstar, and musician and actor Demi Lovato, who presumably came into space to meet aliens. Keemstar is found dead on the spaceship, with it being up to the viewer to help Frogtor find out which celebrity murdered him, parodying the game Among Us.

In option 1, Frogtor decides to eject Great Gold out of the ejection chamber, causing his head to explode from the decompression in space, with a text saying "Great Gold was not the imposter" appearing on-screen. Lovato then shoots a lazer beam throught the back of Frogtor's head, killing him and revealing herself as the murderer.

In option 2, Frogtor and Great Gold eject SunnyV2 out of the ejection chamber after assuming he was the murderer, causing him to be blasted into the sun. When he lands in it, it causes a massive solar flare, flying across space, Frogtor and Great Gold have Lovato point a gun at them as she reveals she's the murderer, before both of the guys and her get incinerated and reduced to skeleton by the solar flare.

In option 3, the right option, Frogtor brings Jerma985 on board, an alien creature with the ability to detect any imposter. Frogtor asks Jerma if Lovato is sus, to which Jerma replies by smiling, meaning she is. After Frogtor finds out she killed Keemstar, he stabs her in the chest, she then leaks out green blood and it is revealed that she was an alien all along. She shifts into her true form, that being a gray tentacled alien with a gaping mouth, and bites the head of SunnyV2, killing him, and then proceeds to open up the hatch of the spaceship with immense strength, sucking everybody out. Frogtor and Great Gold save themselves by using the bubble machine (brought onto the spaceship by Frogtor before) and encasing themselves in one, with them floating back to Earth afterwards. Meanwhile, Demi Lovato gets caught in the Earth's atmosphere and pulled down, causing her to be burned to death in the Earth's atmosphere and reduced to a small black chunk.

Personality

Her being an alien was heavily foreshadowed prior, with her resembling a green alien in appearance and also having an unusual obsession with aliens, to the point where she believes the term "alien" is offensive to extraterrestrials. It is heavily implied that she was attempting to invade or terrorize the species on Earth given her disdain towards everyone on the spaceship.

Trivia

• Her portrayal as an alien that gets offended by said term is a reference to how in October of 2021, regarding the term aliens, she said "I think that we have to stop calling them aliens because aliens is a derogatory term for anything".
• Her true form is a homage to Calvin, the alien antagonist from the 2017 science fiction horror film Life.
