Demons, are the hostile creatures and the main antagonists in Date A Re:Live franchise. They are a race of malevolent and bloodthirsty creatures ruled by The Devil, the King of Demons and the progenitor of all other demons in existence.

Keeping the unique differences between them, the dark non-black colors of every Spirit's Inversion (except for the one representing Kurumi's) were seen as the colors of the Demons' skins, along with eyes resembling hypnotic swirls. They had jagged, zig-zag shaped teeth, with long, sharp, fork-like tongues whipping around without an end; a heated liquid of green, black, purple, and brown shades were dripping/flying out.

After The Devil's death, the Demons that were still alive died out.
With the destruction of the Inverse Void, the demon race has not apparent hope of resurrection.
Fast forward 9 years (2061 AD ~ ongoing) from Japan, the knowledge of the demon race eventually fades into obscurity, mythology, folklore by modern day people as merely fairy tales or imaginary creatures/monsters by children. Leaving the Demons only as one of the many bad memories of the dark age that Westcott had brought to the world during 30 years.
