Derek Johnson is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Trevor) of the Mexican animated series Disventure Camp. He is one of the two hosts for season 1 and season 4 while being an intern in the All-Stars season.

He is one of the two overarching antagonists of the first season, a major character of Disventure Camp All-Stars, one of the two main protagonists (alongside Trevor) of the spinoff Disventure Camp: Staff Stories episode First Mis-Introductions, and one of the two overarching protagonists (alongside Trevor) of Disventure Camp: Carnival of Chaos.

He is voiced by Luis Burciaga in Spanish and Steven Gordon in the English dub. He is also played by Paweł "Pawlik" Pawlikowski and Dario Agatea in the Polish and Italian dubs respectively.

Personality

He is much crueler and sadistic than Trevor who is willing to do anything it takes to continue hosting his show even hiring a wanted fugitive while not getting any better in All-stars he did have a softer side to Trevor and Kristal.

Trivia

• In an official post from Odd Nation Cartoons, he is confirmed to be bisexual.
• He and Riya could be seen as the main antagonists of the entire series as Derek was the one who started the show and convinced Kristal to be crueler in the All-Stars season and Riya is the main antagonist of both season 2 and the All-Stars season.
  • However, he has redeemed himself and took the main protagonist role alongside Trevor, thus disproving this.
• Jared, the host of the beta of season one, has the same last name as him.
• He, alongside Fiore, Riya, Yul, and Jensen can be seen as the evilest contestants of the series.
  • However, he ended up redeeming himself, so this is no longer the case.
