The Destructicons are the main antagonistic faction from the infamous animated fan film Transformers Prime: Galvatron's Revenge.
They are an organization of the four "Anti-Primes" created by Unicron, who were meant to be an opposite to the Thirteen Original Primes created by Primus. Following Unicron's defeat and imprisonment, the Destructicons arose from the ashes of a destroyed factory on a distant planet to find and revive Unicron and destroy Primus including anyone who are Cybertronians.

Past[]
During the war against Primus, Unicron sought to create an opposite faction of Anti-Primes known as the Destructicons to aid him in his war against Primus and the 13 Original Primes. Unicron was able to create the four Destructicons consisting of Galvatron, Cyclonus, Scourge and Slipstream, but the Primes ambushed and defeated their creator but nit before Unicron downloaded the information to Galvatron where he would make his preparations for his objectives to Galvatron. After Unicron's defeat, the Destructicons could not fully come alive and instead were put to stasis by the Primes and had them sealed in a facility on a distant planet.
Transformers Prime: Galvatron's Revenge[]
After the Wreckers, Rodimus and Springer, blow up the facility to slow down the Combaticons and escaped back to the Xantium, they had unintentionally awakened the Destructicons as Galvatron is seen rising from the rubble. Galvatron soon emerges and notices the Steelstalker, the Combaticons' ship, departing to chase down the Wreckers. Soon the other three Destructicons emerge as they listened to Galvatron while Slipstream was skeptical at first until Galvatron put some sense to her as well as threatening her to never for questioning him. Under Galvatron's lead, the Constructicons departed the planet to make their arrival to Cybertron.
As they arrived, they managed to kill an Autobot Vehicon and arrived to the Autobots' base where Galvatron announces to find the Thirteen. They were then told by Ultra Magnus that the Primes were already deceased and the fact that Unicron was killed much to Galvatron's fury and decides to prepare his destructive rampage on the Autobots but stops for a moment as he senses Unicron's Spark, realizing that it is at the Autobots' base. Soon a battle ensues between the Autobots and the Destructicons with the Autobots fighting off the Destructicons but were no match for them as they fell unconscious, giving the Destructicons an opportunityto enter the base.
Upon entering, they stumble upon a Spark Stasis Chamber with Scourge suggesting that they destroy the Sparks to prevent the Autobots for using it for their advantage but Cyclonus declines stating the Autobots lack the methods to create new Protoforms and deciding that they will leave that to Unicron's work to destroy the sparks instead as well as Primus. Through the information gathered from Slipstream hacking a control panel, they learned about the history of Unicron and the fact that Earth is indeed the body of Unicron but his Spark is split from his body and the core of Cybertron being Primus himself before making plans to destroy the core. Galvatron declines stating that it will be Unicron's work to destroy Primus. Slipstream later reveals that Unicron's Spark is sealed in a vessel and the Destructicons approached to find the vessel containing the Anti-Spark. With the Destructicons make a debate if the Autobots should be disposed of or not, Galvatron announced that Unicron's resurrection will solve their complications and capture the vessel as they head to Earth to bring Unicron back to life.
