Detrev, The False Prophet is the overarching antagonist of Sinful Retribution, acting as the unseen overarching antagonist of chapters 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6, an unseen antagonist of chapter 5, and the main antagonist of chapter 7.
She is the former lead sinner of Wrath, and the one behind "The Collapse" (formerly believed to have been Chichi). She's the mother of the secondary sin of greed.
Personality[]
Detrev, like all the other characters, is a sadistic monster. Unlike the others, however, she's also the only one to be extremely misanthropic, wanting every other demon in hell, and partially all angels, deceased because "She doesn't care anymore".
Biography/Appearance[]
Detrev is a tall "Angelic" demon of unknown age, but she herself states "I'm atleast as old as that weird angel Cupid", who is well over a few hundred eons old. She wears a thick wool-coat, along with a suit underneath, though she just wears it "Because it looks nice, and tricks people into thinking I'm not a threat.", along with a few ribbons and bows. Her wings pertrude from her back, along with two large antlers. She is one of the only demons not soulbound to an angel that can cross into the Aether.
Trivia[]
- Detrev is the first villain in Sinful Retribution to have a full name.
- Similarly to Chichi, the main antagonist, both are genocidal monsters. However, Chichi is genocidal because her entire species was nigh-extinct from 1 species, meanwhile Detrev just gives no two craps about anything anymore.
- Interestingly, Detrev has more screen time than any of the actual sins, despite them appearing in more than 1 chapter, exception being Justivar.
