Diablo the Raven, also known as Diablo, is a villain from the Character What series. He is Maleficent's pet raven and a member of The Forces of Evil.
Personality[]
Diablo is very loyal to Maleficent, as he takes her obediently without hesitation. He is also very confidant as he successfully found Princess Aurora in just one day, unlike Maleficent's Goons, who were incompetent and failed to find her in 16 years.
He is also the only one that Maleficent generally cares a great deal about, and was shocked when he was turned into a stature. In return, Diablo generally cares about his mistress, as he was deeply horrified when she was killed by Shadow Aaron.
Character What: The Movie[]
Diablo makes his first appearance in the film along with Maleficent when she arrive in intergalactic spaceship with Shadow Aaron still trapped in a hardened shell, he is also seen with Iago taking to him.
Character What: The Adventures[]
In Sleeping Beauty, Diablo's role is similar to the film, he was send by Maleficent to find Princess Aurora after her goons failed to find her after sixteen years. He searches through the forest and soon spots magic being blasted out of a chimney. The magic came from the wands used by Flora and Merryweather who have been hiding Aurora in a cottage to keep her safe from Maleficent. Now knowing where she is, Diablo quickly flies back to Maleficent to report to her about the princess's whereabouts, much to her delight. He also learn that Aurora has fallen in love with a Prince who is Philips so the goons captured him as kept him as hostage to prevent him from breaking the curse, Shadow Joe along with Twilight Sparkle, Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather breaks him out. Diablo orders the goons to attack. However, they stand no chance against Shadow Joe and the fairies' magic, so Diablo goes to alert Maleficent. Merryweather is annoy by him and a brief chase, she turns him into a statue to shut him up for good. After hearing the commotion, Maleficent tell her goons to be silent and was deeply shocked to see Diablo as a stature and witnessing Philip, Shadow Joe, Twilight and the fairies escaping, decides to take matters into her own hands.
In the very first Character What special, after Shadow Aaron brought Maleficent back to life, he also revive Diablo from his stone curse. Diablo immediately re-join with Maleficent and settle down on her shoulder.
Following his return, Diablo made further appearances in the Character What franchise, mostly seen with Maleficent either on her shoulder or staff.
Character What: Tales[]
In Return of Chaos, when Maleficent used her magic to released Discord from his stone prison, he was annoyed by Discord's antics and even tries to bite his finger.
