Diesel 10 is the overarching antagonist of Thomas Blows His Stack, a 2007 Thomas the Tank Engine YouTube video made by Bulgy13. He was responsible for Thomas turning evil.
He was voiced by the director and writer of the video, Michael U. Despite this, however, he was also voiced by Josh S.
Biography[]
He first appeared when Thomas was taking the scrap to the scrapyard and then suddenly found Diesel 10. Thomas questioned Diesel 10 about what he wants, and the evil diesel answers that he wants to help him because he has noticed that he was overworked and under-appreciated for all of his work efforts and has an answer for all of this which is revenge against everyone including his colleages. Thomas asks him how he can get revenge and Diesel 10 answers "violence, damage, destroy and kill", but then Thomas asks Diesel 10 what he gets out of it. The evil diesel goaded Thomas by answering "satisfaction, vengeance and power" and then says "What do you say Thomas?". Then, Thomas agreed after taking the bait of Diesel’s words and began to turn evil by letting Diesel 10 telling other Diesel to buffer Thomas in a machine. As a result, Thomas has turned evil and transformed into a Terminator-type engine after that.
He was seen again towards the end of the video where all of his crimes had been aware by Thomas’s former friends after his death, where Diesel was punished by getting trapped in a pile of scrap while everything on the Island went back to normal and everyone continued happily and safely working. He yelled out "Blast you steam engines!" as he was not pleased with his punishment. Diesel is likely to remain in the state for the rest of his days until becoming decommissioned and to rust, never to terrorise Sodor ever again.
There has been several remakes of the Thomas Blows His Stack video uploaded on YouTube by many different YouTubers.
While Diesel 10 looks the same as his original counterpart, there are some differences between the two of them. Examples are the original version of Diesel 10 has a seemingly sentient claw named Pinchy (albeit only in Thomas and the Magic Railroad since Diesel 10's claw doesn't have any sentience and is not called Pinchy in the TV series) while the Thomas Blows His Stack version of Diesel 10 has a claw, but it doesn't have any sentience and isn't named Pinchy and the original version of Diesel 10 has some redeeming qualities (outside of Thomas and the Magic Railroad) while the Thomas Blows His Stack version of Diesel 10 was never shown to have any redeeming qualities, making it unknown if he really has some redeeming qualities or not. In addition, he has less screen time than his original counterpart.
Appearance[]
Diesel 10 resembles his original counterpart in which he is an ochre painted diesel with tan stripes, a dark brown claw on top of him, black windows and has red buffer beams with black buffers. He has gray wheels, black eyes and black eyebrows. He also has an evil smile on his face.
