“ | And so I arrive! Like news of a finger snap wiping out half of Marvel upon an unsuspecting internet! I am Count Bleck's Master of Dimensions! The Pleaser of Crowds! I. Am. DIMENTIO! Remember the name well… | „ |
~ Dimentio. |
“ | ♫ We perform, we rewrite the norm, and sing a song of nothing! From the void, the circus horns, proclaim the power rushing! Onward we go! TO THE ULTIMATE SHOW! (The show goes on, for the weak and strong, and a perfect world, is within my grasp!) Now I have the last laugh! ♫ | „ |
~ Dimentio during The Ultimate Show. |
“ | Bold to assume that I won't have the last laugh… | „ |
~ Dimentio's most famous quote, as well as his last words. |
Dimentio (later known as Super Dimentio after obtaining the Chaos Heart) is the main antagonist of Super Paper Mario: Musical Bytes by Man on the Internet, appearing as a secondary singer in Champion of Destruction, and later the main singer (as well as the main antagonist) of both It's Showtime! and The Ultimate Show. While he is most similar to his main counterpart, the version of Dimentio in the musical bytes has much more characterization and we explore his psyche a little more, not to mention a little more nihilistic.
In It's Showtime! With Lyrics and The Ultimate Show With Lyrics, he is voiced by Alex Beckham, who also voiced Marx in Vs. Marx With Lyrics, Omega in Cannon Ball With Lyrics, 0² in Zero Two With Lyrics, and Lavos in Chrono Trigger: The Musical. In Dimentio, Charming Magician With Lyrics, he was voiced by Steel.
Personality[]
Much like his original counterpart, Dimentio is a manipulative psychopath who seeks to destroy the multiverse and recreate it in his image. While he may seem loyal to Count Bleck at first, he truly does not care for him and he has his own goals in mind, not to mention that he still uses him for his own goals. Dimentio is willing to do anything to achieve his goals, even if it means brainwashing and/or killing others, as shown when he attacks Nastasia and brainwashes Luigi to bring Mr. L back to form into Super Dimentio.
However, while Dimentio is almost no different than his original counterpart and has no redeeming qualities, he doesn't use the Chaos Heart to destroy all worlds after his death, at least not onscreen. If Dimentio didn't do this, unlike his original counterpart, this could arguably make him less evil, but just barely. It is also a possibility that it just accrued off-screen, as he claims to have "the last laugh".
Biography[]
Champion of Destruction[]
Dimentio makes his first chronological appearance in Count Bleck's song, Champion of Destruction, during the final segment of the song, singing along with Count Bleck's other minions in the chorus. Unlike everyone there, Dimentio is the only one who is seen smiling, implying that Dimentio may truly be the only person who is happy there and was the only one who liked the idea of destroying the entire multiverse.
It's Showtime![]
Dimentio returns in his song, It's Showtime as the main singer this time, as well as the main antagonist. He tries to have both Mario and Luigi join him to defeat Count Bleck, but when they refuse, Luigi and Dimentio fight, as both Mario and Tippi leave. Throughout the song, Dimentio goes on about his goals to destroy the multiverse and recreate it in his image, promising that things will change. After being defeated by Luigi, he traps him and himself, implanting a seed into his head off-screen.
The Ultimate Show[]
After Count Bleck is defeated, Dimentio attacks Nastasia, knocking her out, revealing himself to still be alive. He then merges with both Mr. L and the Chaos Heart, becoming Super Dimentio. As Dimentio's song goes on, he no longer holds back and tries to do whatever he can to kill Mario and his allies, and while they fight, many universes are seen being absorbed by the void. Before things get worse, he is finally defeated and killed, releasing both Luigi and the Chaos Heart, claiming that he had the last laugh.

Trivia[]
- Dimentio has made several appearances outside of the Musical Bytes series, once crossing over with Jevil and Marx for their number together, and showing up in "Megalovania 4".
- Before both It's Showtime! and The Ultimate Show covers were released, Dimentio appearing on the channel was heavily requested.
