Dinobot was a character in Zord Adventures serving as a major antagonist who first appeared as one of the one-time secondary antagonists of the Season 1 episode Detective Tricera (Alongside Optimus Primal) and a major antagonist in Season 2 and Season 3 then turned anti-hero at the end of Season 3.
He was once a Maximal who turned against the Predacons after a fallout with Megatron. Some point after the deaths of Optimus Primal and Megatron, Dinobot attempted to rescue Rhinox, but gets captured as he and Rhinox were reprogrammed into permanent Predacons and part of the attack on the Axalon, destroying it. Eventually he was defeated in Stega's Revenge but has a new decko in Predacons Arise and was the only surviving Predacon to rejoin Rampage in Wild Rescue and The Animarium. He later sacrificed himself to defeat Rampage to regain the code of honor.
Personality[]
Dinobot was a ferocious and cunning warrior who once had a value of honor, but now is more bloodthirsty, cruel but rather dimwitted as a Predacon.
Villainous Acts[]
- In Inspector Tricera, him and Optimus Primal serve as Stega's security and captured Tricera by placing him to a secret room and leaving him there but that doesn't stop Tricera from escaping. Stega, Optimus Primal and him later trapped and attempted to kill Yellow only for Tricera to stop and defeated them.
- In Stega's Revenge, Stega, Optimus Primal and Dinobot escaped from prison as he tranquilizes Tricera and helped stole his horns. Eventually they ambush the Dinozords and were gaining the tide util the Dino Thunder Zords arrived and defeated Stega, Optimus Prime and Dinobot. It was revealed that Optimus Primal and him captured and reprogrammed Stega and as a result, he and Optimus Primal were defeated by Dragon.
- In Predacons Arise and Wild Rescue, he is seen upgraded with a new decko as he is one of the several Predacons, along with Optimus Primal and Rhinox, to ambush and gain the tide against the Dinozords until the Wild Zords arrived and killed off the Predacons except Dinobot who vowed to bring back Optimus Primal.
- In The Maximal's Story, it was revealed that he and Rhinox became permanent Predacons as the resultof the Repgrogrammer X and helped Rampage destroy the Axalon. He especially helped Rampage and the other Predacons wound and take out Silverbolt.
- In A Sudden Reunion, He, along with Rampage, Scorponok and Buzz Saw stalked and ambushed GaoHunter as Rampage sent BakuranOh to destroy him, but fails.
- In Turn for the Worse, he follows Rampage's orders on leading Dragon, Tsubasa, Rhinox, Tarantulas and Quickstrike on destroying both the Ninjazords, the Thunder Zords and the Shogun Zords in their base by bring the cake with a bomb in which that causes the base to be in a destructive state then sends Rhinox, Tarantulas and Tsubasa to deal with them. He was then ordered to blow up the base, but begins to hesitate due to Rhinox, Tarantulas and Tsubasa remaining inside the base, but Quickstrike does the favor that results to having the base destroyed, along with the Zords remain inside including Rhinox, Tarantulas and Tsubasa much to Dinobot's shock.
- In Zordtopia's Last Defense Part 2, Dinobot was able to caught Rattrap as he battles against Rattrap but soon accidently vaporized the effects of the shield as he was cornered but Dragon soon arrived joining the battle. as the Dinozords and Dragon battle, Dinobot attempts to use his laser vision against Rattrap but keeps on missing as it hits the Reprogrammer X and it affects Dragon, reverting him to normal. Rattrap gives enough time to have the Dinozords leave to fight Rampage as he and Dinobot get to a discussion about being different and how Rampage was using him and how he was a Maximal and a Warrior. Dinobot soon comes to a realization as he spares Rattrap and orders him to leave. Later on, Dinobot arrives to the final battle and claims to do the honors to take out the Zords and the Maximals, only to actually restore his code of honor as he sacrifices himself to destroy Rampage and the other Predacons, ending them and himself in the process.
Trivia[]
- In Stega's Revenge, Dinobot's appearance was a Live Wire version of himself and in Predacons Arise, his appearance is currently a deluxe version.
