Director kakuzawa or just Kakuzawa the main antagonist of the fanfic "Yo-kai Lied: A second chance" written by Tyukao (On Wattpad).

Director Kakuzawa is the architect of a twisted vision: the eradication of humanity as we know it, replacing it with a new race of diclonius under his command. His obsession extends beyond the diclonius, seeing yo-kai as an anomaly to be controlled and used for his purposes. He is the eldest, followed by the gods Lilium, Saint, and Moka.

Appearance[]

When consuming the diclonius formula[]

After consuming the formula, he transforms into a demonic entity that seems to personify Satan himself. His horns grow and twist, his eyes become pupil-less crimson spheres, and his skin darkens, marked by the scars of mutation. His distorted voice resonates with multiple echoes, as if speaking with the voice of many entities at once.

He possesses razor-sharp claws capable of tearing through any material and an aura of corruption that makes even the most powerful diclonius and yo-kai tremble. Strange bloody symbols appear on his body, suggesting that his transformation is not only physical but also existential, turning him into a force that defies reality itself.

Personality[]

The same as in canon, only much more sadistic and immoral, even wanting to kill children so that the Diclonius can dominate both his world and Nathan's, he shows no remorse, even seeing his children and family as mere disposable tools that he only pretends to care about, feeling that way even for Caelum and Lucy, incapable of showing affection or empathy.

Biography[]

As in canon, Kakuzawa is the leader of the Diclonius Research Institute, dedicated to the evolution of humanity through the use of the diclonius virus under the guise of eradicating the diclonius threat, when in reality it is quite the opposite. His ambition to create a new dominant race leads him to perform inhumane experiments, believing the diclonius to be the next step in evolution. Faithfully believing that his ancestors are ancient diclonius, who according to him are faithful believers of the so-called gods of the diclonius (Lilium, Saint and Moka) who were supposed to lead them to the greatness and glory of the species, if it were not because humans sealed them when hunting the ancient diclonius, now Kakuzawa is dedicated to finding the musical boxes where the gods were sealed, to free them and help him conquer the world.

The Before (Prequel Episode)[]

A few years ago, he had received Kurama's suggestion to create an artificial diclonius using test subjects who were of no use to them, thus giving birth to Mizusu (Sydney). He brought the facility's staff and diclonius (Lucy, Nana, Numbuh 3, Numbuh 27) to witness her human creation. However, upon seeing that she wasn't a 100% diclonius but half-lycanthrope, he, along with the rest (except Lucy and Nana), immediately despised her, leaving her locked away in complete isolation until the day she escaped. Kakuzawa and some diclonius were relieved, wishing she was dead, considering her an aberration, although despite this, he was very curious to see how the moment between her and Lucy developed.

An opportunity?[]

It is mentioned by Mitsuki who explains to Kouta and the girls (Yuka, Nana and Mayu) Kakuzawa's true plans with the music boxes.

Kind people[]

Kakuzawa receives information about the energy caused by Mitsuki, apart from the deceased coming back to life, to which Kakuzawa, who was already aware, tells him that whatever it was would be useful to them, in addition to asking them to call the resurrected (His son, Kurama, Shirakawa etc) for a meeting, and when the informant leaves, it is revealed that Kakuzawa already has the music boxes of Saint and Moka, hoping that the legends of the ascendants will be true.

Some fun[]

After Kakuzawa sent scouts to investigate the anomalies related to the resurrection of the deceased, meeting with them to speak personally and obtain more information, what information he obtains is that they all woke up in the same place where they died as if everything was nothing more than a nightmare, when asking about Kurama, his son Arakawa to which the informant answers yes, Kakuzawa says to bring them immediately, while the informant withdraws again, Kakuzawa sees a scroll of the ancient Diclonius, where it just spoke of the diclonius gods.

You and me[]

Kouta mentions it when he's about to explain about the Diclonius, but doesn't have time... It's also mentioned by Mitsuki when she seeks Mirapo's help to return the kids to Kamukura.

In his laboratory, he learns about a wormhole between his world and Springdale's. He plans to find a way to create a device that can create a portal between the two worlds, claiming that his technology might be superior to his own. A staff member informs him that the Revenants are already present, while Kakuzawa asks them to wait when he mentions the music boxes.

Mitsuki sees him with the music boxes thanks to Draggie, worried about what might happen.

At the Kakuzawa meeting, everyone talks about her resurrection. Yu Kakuzawa heard that Mariko might now be on the loose. Kurama didn't wake up. When he heard from a guard that Number 3 had escaped again and that they couldn't capture her because her vectors blocked the darts, he let Kurama help them stop her, hoping she'd fulfill her purpose. He was curious about what she was going to say to him before she was killed when she first escaped a few years ago.

Mitsuki mentions it again when she explains to Lucy and her friends that Kakuzawa has Saint and Moka's music boxes, alarming Lucy, Kouta, and Yuka. He also explains what he could be and is capable of, causing Sydney to remember him.

Old enemies[]

As usual, Mitsuki mentions it, explaining that she could even invade Springdale along with Sydney, expressing that she has unfinished business with him and the others who discriminated against her...

Kakuzawa asks if they have information about the Lilium music box and demands that they continue investigating until they find at least one lead. Another member of the research center informs him that Kurama managed to reason with Number 3, and after witnessing their conversation, Kakuzawa offers to help them with their plans.

Zazel mentions the Great Enma, and Mitsuki, who hopes to defeat him, also mentions the Bando, who calls him a madman before being interrupted by an unknown man.

This time Kakuzawa does manage to receive useful information about the creation of a device that detects anomalies, detecting supernatural presences in the city and one that could be the music box he has been searching for. Interested in knowing that many beings will come before him, he mentions the portal, to which the informant explains that if they want it to work like they did, they will need something or someone to which Kakuzawa sends explorers, soldiers and researchers saying that they cannot waste any more time.

Repercussion[]

Kakuzawa asks if everything is ready, to which his informant replies that it is, taking six helicopters and mentioning a certain number 13, warning them not to fail the mission.

A copilot mentions him when warning them not to disobey Kakuzawa. He is also mentioned by a soldier when they take the Lilium Box from Kouta, and by Ramirez, who boasts that now everyone will be at his mercy.

Giving Kakuzawa the news of his achievement, he rejoices that he will finally have the Lilium Box in his possession. His expression changes when he hears Kurama's "betrayal," saying that he will not forgive him now. Later, he is seen celebrating that his and his species' dream will finally come true.

Family ties[]

Kakuzawa receives the information from Ramirez, who congratulates him for bringing him the Yo-kai Watches, the Lilium Box, and when he tells him to bring Lucy, don't forget to bring her to him, allowing him to withdraw, informing him that his son needs the Yo-kai, asking him to leave the Transmuker on his desk, Kouta mentions it alarmed that if they don't stop him in time it will be the age of extinction, when Kurama is before Director Kakuzawa, who scolds him for his opposition to an order, threatening him with his gun, telling him that Number 26 will be in charge of killing him as an execution in front of everyone including Nana as a warning not to oppose him, shooting him in the arm leaving him wounded, allowing the members to retreat with him.

When he meets Sydney (Mizusu) again, he continues to show his contempt by calling her a beast, when with the transmuker in his power he commands a new meeting, talking about what already happened, congratulating Ramirez again, when Arakawa asks him when they are going to act, he answers that they must be patient and check the world, when Isobe questions him why if they already have the transmuker why the watches, Kakuzawa explains that they must make sure that they do not try to escape, in addition to that they need all the energy possible for their new machinery to work, and that they must wait to first free Saint and Moka to free Lilium.

You are love itself[]

Kakuzawa proceeds to open the portal using mirapo, crossing the first to verify because with the help of the hostages (either by stupidity or forced) he learned of the gang of terrorist criminals, arriving in Springdale, contemplating the "peaceful" landscape decides to find out which prison the band is in, asking several citizens lying that he is the head of a high security psychiatric hospital, finally arriving at the police headquarters, interested in the aforementioned criminal gang, gets them to take him with the 7 criminals, convincing him to take them with him, after a conversation between them, who being far away explains to them, taking them near the portal, asking him in a not very ironic way if they really hate their government, and that they want to make those they hate suffer, upon receiving affirmative answers, he tells them that they are lucky because with him they will achieve that goal, entering the vortex of the portal surprising the criminals, Kakuzawa tells them that he will answer their doubts whether to accept to help him in his cause, revealing to be the head of the Diclonius research center, Gontako (leader of the gang) agrees to help him only if they give him the opportunity to fulfill his ambitions and he responds affirmatively, although at first the boys respond with mockery comparing him to a supervillain (Yes, he is a supervillain and a very dangerous one) to which after a type of discussion, he manages to get the group to accept definitively, but Kakuzawa in order to gain their trust they must undergo surgeries to obtain bionic implants, which according to them will give them abilities with the help of the best surgeons, claiming that in their state as normal humans they do not have many advantages in combat, to which Gontako sees no other option but to accept ...

Trivia[]

  • He forgot to say that it is faithful to its original version.
  • As stated, he uses as a philosophy what a lion does when claiming a pride, referring to him claiming the entire world ensuring that his race is the only one left standing, forcing the adults to give birth to new diclonius children after ending the lives of their original children.
  • Perhaps it is mentioned in the story that he himself killed kaede's mother after forcing her to give birth to his children.
  • In the fanfic it is mentioned that he and his people have known about the yo-kai for a long time.
  • Surely, had he been successful, he would have used sydney as a mere fighting dog or killed her, considering her an aberration for her breed.
  • The scene where he injects himself with the diclonius formula is an inspiration for the professor komus revelation scene from the monster high live action movie, especially for the phrase even if it was said by his son.
  • One of your objectives upon arriving in springdale will be to recruit a team of terrorists who were captured by the protagonists along with suzo and pompoko.
  • He achieves his goal in an alternate timeline (Second season episode) to which rio and karim accidentally travel, where he manages to take the lives of many innocent people. The diclonius dominate the world, cruelly murdering the rebels and surviving humans who still fight to stop him.
