~ Dmitri's villainous breakdown after being captured and handed over to the Government.

Dmitri Johannes Petrov is the secondary antagonist of the Henry Stickmin fanfiction, Burdens of a Timeline Traveler, written by Lord_Tenebros.

He is a tyrannical dictator who runs a Canadian complex known as The Wall. He shows himself off to be an abusive and unfair warden, with him locking up those he deems unlawful even for the pettiest of crimes, all in the name of serving his twisted view of justice.

Biography[]

Dmitri mostly serves a background role for a majority of the fanfiction, however he becomes plot relevant in the two-parter The Sweet Taste of Vengeance where it is revealed that after it coming to the attention of the government that he had been locking people behind bars for petty and unjustified reasons along with treating his employees like garbage, as well as locking up those who had previously been pardoned by the government themselves, that they decide to get on his case and alert the Canadian Government and tell them about their findings, as which point they try to send several agents to shut down the Wall.

Upon Dmitri hearing about this advancement, he proceeds to bunker down into the Wall and threatens his employees that if they were to try and leave that he would kill them on sight. Henry and Ellie are then given the job of helping take down Dmitri and to bring his tyranny to an end, which the two have no qualms with due to their bad history with the corrupt warden.

Ellie devises the plan to threaten Dmitri and the Wall using 'Supreme Dominance' a weapon that had been previously constructed by the now deceased Reginald Copperbottom. When Ellie approaches Dmitri and threatens him with such weapon, he is not quick to believe it, and instead chooses to think that it is nothing more than a lie, however, after Ellie proved his legitimacy by blasting a nearby mountain with the 'Supreme Dominance' that things start to change.

Ellie then tells the other employees of Dmitri that they don't have to work for him, and if they don't want to be incinerated by the giant laser, then they are to rebel against Dmitri and hand him over to the government, to which most of the employees agree to do so due to the fact that they were never truly loyal to Dmitri.

A prison riot is caused due to this and Dmitri is left to flee in hopes of escaping the onslaught, however he is ultimately unsuccessful and is captured, handed over to the government, and subsequently locked away, with the Wall being left to ruin.
