Dmytro Semenovych Klyachkivsky (Ukrainian: Дмитро Семенович Клячківський) is a major protagonist of The New Order: Last Days of Europe, a mod for Hearts of Irons 4.

He made his debut in the game as one of the potential main protagonists of The Ruin, the first part of Europas Narben saga, which included but not limited to the first half of the Ukraine storyline.

Overall, Klyachkivsky serves as the secondary antagonist of the Ukraine storyline. He can also become the villainous main protagonist of Ukrainian Insurgent Army (or UPA) storyline, especially his own path. He could only carry on his path if he survived his assassination.

Overview[]

Surviving the World War II after the Axis victory, Klyachkivsky was enraged and embittered at the Nazi's betrayal of the deal between them and the UPA, which resulted in the latter's leader Stepan Bandera being killed by German Army. He succeeded Bandera as the UPA's leader and began his revenge against Germany and its collaborators.

After the notorious Reichkommissar Erich Koch met his downfall, the UPA was among the forces that rose in the following Ukrainian Civil War, mainly led by Klyachkivsky. He would end up building the Ukrainian State once he defeated his enemies.

However, Klyachkivsky would start another fascist regime and plan his own bloodthirsty conquest had he won the war. Furthermore, he attempted to expand his territories and build a Greater Ukraine in his vision, while killing everyone else in his way - Poles, Germans, Hungarians, Russians and even some Ukrainians that disagreed with his view.
