Doctor Diente is the main villain of the 2005 Disney channel television series American Dragon: Jake Long and also Hasbro My Little Pony series. He is the rival of Nurse Red Heart (Ashleigh Ball). He is voiced by John C. McGinley, who is also voiced the White Stripe in Kim Possible series.

He was a sadistic, treacherous, and murderous dentist who served as the assistant to the Tooth Fairy and later Nurse Red Heart. However, upon hearing that Haley Long (Amy Bruckner) was about to lose her first tooth, he turned against his two bosses and took the possession of her wand and her tooth minions. He planned to steal Haley's tooth as dragon teeth have magical, mystical, and supernatural powers.

Doctor Diente kidnaps Haley, Pinkie Pie (Andrea Libman), Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy. Diente takes it and wraps his hand around it and places his hand into a pot of soil, causing the tooth's power to activate and turn Diente into a large white-furred monster with red eyes.

Diente then goes on a rampage on Cloudsdale, the former hometown of Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy and starts to steal the money the Tooth Fairy gave to the Pegasus fillies and colts. Luckily, the stallion six Fancy Pants (Trevor Devall), Shining Armor (Andrew Francis), Thunder Lane, Big Macintosh (Peter New), Mr. Cake (Brian Drummond), and Soaring (Matt Hill) were able to stop Diente with the help of Big Macintosh's younger sister Applejack, Shining Armor's younger sister Twilight Sparkle (Tara Strong), and Sweetie Belle's older sister Rarity (Tabitha St. Germain) by taking a Cloudsdale's electric power transmission and smashing it on top of him.

  • In the original American Dragon: Jake Long novel, Dr. Diente is a minor villain that doesn't appear until page 203.
