Dora Marquez, better known as Dora the Explorer or simply Dora, is the titular main protagonist of the GoAnimate Dora series. Just like Caillou, she sometimes appears as a hero or a villain depending on the video. She is the daughter of Elena and Cole Marquez and the granddaughter of Abuela Marquez.
She is mostly voiced by Kayla, but she is sometimes voiced by Julie, who also voices Doris Anderson.
Appearance[]
Dora seems to have the same appearance as the original show, but she has long hair instead of the hair style she has originally.
Personality[]
Like Caillou, Dora's personality depends on the video maker.
However, in Roku Kun the Vyonder's videos, she is depicted as a violent, aggressive, racist and murderous terrorist who loves to cause chaos around Go!City, like causing a terrorist attack on a subway, setting violent traps inside her house which nearly killed her own father, crashing and racing through a mall with Caillou, Satari and Little Bill, turning everyone into a rapid killer phone by sabotaging the communication tower, causing Digimons to destroy and trash the house, stealing a truck to kill Abuela, blowing up the city with a helicopter and so on.
Despite being depicted as extremely violent in Roku Kun's videos, she does have moments where she does have a good heart and feeling of revenge against her family for abusing her, as shown in Nicholas D's Dora's Parents (Roku Kun Version) Gets Arrested and Executed.
Villainous Roles[]
Roku Kun the Vyonder[]
Dora is one of the seven main antagonists of Roku Kun the Vyonder's GoAnimate videos. Unlike many GoAnimators' depiction of Dora, Roku Kun's version is extremely violent as well as racist to everyone in Go!City. She is also irredeemable most of the time, as she doesn't seem to have any remorse or regret for the crimes she commits, even to the point she doesn't regret causing mass terrorism on a subway with Caillou and nearly killing her mom by putting a CF6-80C2 on her bed. Overall, this version is one of the most infamous due to the severe violence she causes, though she always gets her comeuppance at the end, even if her parents were more abusive than her for many GoAnimators.
Samster5677[]
Dora serves as the main antagonist of Samster5677's Dora Gets Grounded series. Similar to Roku Kun the Vyonder, Dora is shown to cause chaos around Go!City, even though she is slightly less aggressive than what was shown in Roku Kun's videos, some videos show her still committing terrorism, but in a slightly smaller degree.
Disaster Squad[]
Dora usually serves as an on and off antagonistic role in The Rosie Movie Tetralogy, like her other variations she is shown to be quite mischevious and troublesome but usually she ends up being the butt of the joke by her frenemy Rosie. Unlike her Roku Kun the Vyonder variation though, she isn't racist but is instead usually a victim of Rosie's racist and xenophobic jokes with Rosie often threatening to kick her down south of the border.
She does kind of serve an opening antagonistic role in the The Rosie Movie 3: Double Trouble as Rosie goes overboard in screwing with Dora as she kills her yet again, and gets her revived by having Caillou fart in her face. This leads to her beating up Caillou for that to which Rosie rats on her and gets her in trouble.
A fed up Dora would then go onto try and trick Rosie into drinking a soda that would send her into another dimension, except that doesn't work because Caillou incidentally takes and drinks it instead and gets sent into an alternate dimension to which Daillou (Caillou's evil counterpart) drops in. This makes Dora responsible for kicking off the plot of The Rosie Movie 3: Double Trouble.
J0rdIToonZStation[]

Dora in the Lightstone Cinematic Universe and J0rdIToonZStation's videos.
Just like most GoAnimators, this version of Dora also commits trouble in Go!City and is even arrested several times thanks to the efforts of Caillou, even when she tried to force Caillou into becoming her boyfriend again.
Lightstone Cinematic Universe[]

Dora's Supervillain form.
Dora is the main antagonist of the 2024 Lightstone Cinematic Universe Caillou & Gina: The Movie film duology. In the first movie of the same name, she breaks out of federal prison to have Gina kidnapped and taken to an abandoned factory in order to get revenge on Caillou for getting back with her and also plots to take over the world using a laser device that allows her to shoot lasers from her eyes. After a brief fight with Caillou, she gets the upper hand and knocks him down before taking him to the secret room so he can witness his girlfriend's demise.
However, before she could kill Gina, Boris steps in from behind and knocks her to the ground, saving her and Caillou from their doom. Caillou then goes on to fight Dora so he can put an end to her plans. During the battle, Dora has the advantage on Caillou due to her laser device, but as she was about to fire a laser at him, Caillou knocks the device off her eye, breaking it. Deciding to get the battle over with, she is beaten down by Caillou, choked and slammed on one of the military trucks. However, after Caillou saved Gina, Dora gets up and takes one of the military's rifles as she attempts to kill both of them. But before she could shoot, a bullet fired by Cole hits her in the knee, ultimately defeating her as she is arrested again and sent back in federal prison.
However, in Caillou & Gina: The Super Movie, a few days after Caillou and Gina's marriage, Dora breaks out of federal prison once more and teams up with Leon Worthington, a high-ranked criminal in GoAnimate City, taking advantage of the broken laser device that was left laying on the floor in the abandoned factory. As Leon goes on to fix the device, Dora confronts Caillou and Gina in the park where she nearly chokes the latter to death before being saved by Caillou. Shortly after, she is contacted by Leon who tells her to go back to his basement. There, she sees that not only he fixed her laser device but also made a new one for himself.
Putting the laser devices on their eyes, they gain superpowers again. However, little do they know is that Caillou and Gina also managed to gain superpowers as well thanks to Professor Utonium. Confronting each other at the city, they start fighting once more, but Dora and Leon are overpowered by the two superheroes. Refusing to be defeated again, she tells Leon to leave as she prepares to do something she would've done earlier, but still allows him to assist in fighting.
After Leon leaves, Dora transforms into a gigantic Devil Teeth Girl and starts causing chaos in Go!Animate City, prompting both Caillou and Gina into fighting her once more to put an end to her destruction once and for all. Caillou and Gina then provoke her into destroying a forcefield they created, but Dora easily destroys it with her laser device, rendering both of them vulnerable as she picks them up, planning to bite them to death for what she suffered for three months. Before she could do so, she is stopped by the Powerpuff Girls as Blossom screams loudly at her face, causing her to fall down on the ground. The fight wasn't over yet however, as Dora got up and angrily berates them for attempting to stop her plans. Caillou and Gina attempt to do everything they can to defeat Dora, but her Devil Teeth Girl form is too strong for them.
Ultimately, Dora is defeated when Caillou sacrifices his life by striking her down with the power infused by Gina's laser device, resulting in him dying for a short while before he was revived by God. Afterwards, as Leon is arrested for his crimes, Dora is brought home to be grounded by her family.
Trivia[]
- Her infamous role in Roku Kun's videos sometimes got mixed reception from GoAnimators, as similar to PaperLuigi99, she was depicted as way too violent, abusive and racist compared to other depictions of her, though she does have praise in Dora's Parents (Roku Kun Version) Gets Arrested and Executed and is also well received in many GoAnimate videos.
- Dora's parents sometimes had negative reception in Roku Kun's videos due to the amount of abuse they do to Dora, even if sometimes deserved for her actions, but in the infamous Dora's WORST Birthday Party video, she gets a punishment day for her birthday, showing punishments that are way too violent and abusive to watch, even some of them being deadly.
