Dr. Dellaglio is a secondary villain in the Willy Randall comic strip series, serving as an assistant to Dr. Luis and a prominent enemy when he isn't around.

Biography[]

Professor Frank Daleggio was once a kind-hearted researcher and Professor Zam's former lab partner, until one day Frank started working on a special project, a pair of technologically-advanced eyeglasses that would let it's user peek into other dimensions.

Despite Zam's insistence that it would be a bad idea, Frank was so eager in this project that he worked on it relentlessly until finishing them. Upon putting on the glasses, Frank's eyes were met with a series of disturbing imagery and visions, causing him to scream in terror. The A.I within the glasses had also started to control his body, without him noticing.

A series of photos shows Professor Frank Daleggio's transformation into the Doctor Dellaglio we know today, showing how the A.I had corrupted him and caused his madness and turn to the dark side.

Currently, Dr. Dellaglio works under Dr. Luis's L-Incorporated, a secret association that plans to take over Misericordia School and rule it as an empire of their own. Like Dr. Luis, Dr. Dellaglio hates Willy Randall and longs for capturing him to impress his "Master".

He has a heavy obsession and reliance on magnifying lenses, which he mass produces on his factory, but rarely show any fructiferous results in stopping Willy Randall.

He also has a rivalry with Dr. Nahuel, as the two are often at odds with each other, due to Dr. Nahuel's stuffiness and high standards clashing with Dr. Dellaglio's nervousness, and Dr. Nahuel also dismisses his magnifying lenses, which highly infuriates Dr. Dellaglio, and in turn he makes fun of his paintbrushes.

Personality[]

Dr. Dellaglio, most of the time, has a rather quiet demeanor, but gets easily excited, becoming prone to fits of giggling. He is shown to deeply care for his boss Dr. Luis, who he calls "master", doing everything on his capacity to please and serve him, being pretty much his main lackey and possible only true friend. He has somewhat severe anxiety and is rather fast to jump to Dr. Luis's defense whenever Dr. Nahuel questions him. He is a sinister pyromaniac, showing an incredible obsession for magnifying lenses due to their burning power. especially the ones he creates. It is shown in extremely rare occasions, however, that he may have a secret good side, like when he felt bad for Willy for being expulsed from the arts and crafts festival, or when he shown happiness to see Willy back when he got stuck on the second dimension. These little moments may be remnants of Dr. Dellaglio's original self.

Appearance[]

Dr. Dellaglio is a fair-skinned man with cross-hatchings across his cheeks representing dirt or oil stains. He wears an old, tattered blue lab coat with lighter blue pants and black shoes. He has messy brown hair and wears a pair of round glasses with a tiny electronic eye on the left lens. Overall he has a very messy and ragged look, which may stem from his high levels of stress. He also had sharp teeth early on, but nowadays he is drawn with normal teeth.

Trivia[]

  • Dr. Dellaglio, like all characters, before being a comic character, he was an OC from a fake videogame series, called Misericordia.
  • Dr. Dellaglio is the only main character whose first name is unknown in the comic.
  • Dr. Dellaglio looks more similar to his early concepts arts from back when he was an OC, rather than his main OC design.
