Dr. Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik is one of the two main antagonists (alongside Salem) of Iron117Prime's A Red Rose in the Blue Wind.
He is the brilliant leader of the Eggman Empire and the arch-nemesis of Sonic the Hedgehog. Driven by an insane ambition rivaled only by his IQ of 300, he seeks to conquer all of existence. Following a recent defeat by Sonic, Eggman arrives in the World of Remnant and plans to reestablish his empire there. To accomplish this, he teams up with Salem and her faction.
Appearance[]
Eggman is a round obese human with a small, bald head, a large nose and a large bushy mustache. For his outfit he wears glasses and a red coat embedded with golden buttons and white stripes. He also wears a pair of black pants and pants with plates on them.
Personality[]
Dr. Eggman is a ruthless, egotistical mad scientist and self-described diva whose ambition spans beyond world domination to conquering the entire universe and multiverse under the Eggman Empire, often revealing his evil plans to show off. However, Sonic and his friends considered his secrecy and hesitation to openly attack Remnant—upon his arrival there—as completely out of character, leading them to suspect something was seriously wrong.
Upon arriving in Remnant, he established a partnership with Salem and her faction. However, he frequently butted heads with them, openly criticizing Salem and viewing her subordinates as arrogant, particularly displaying a strong disdain for Cinder and her overestimation of her ability to defeat Sonic and his allies.
Despite his villainy, Eggman possesses a semblance of humanity, primarily demonstrated through his profound respect for his late grandfather, Dr. Gerald Robotnik, whom he admires for his scientific genius and whose fate remains a touchy subject. He also holds respect for Sonic as a worthy adversary, based on their past battles, declaring that only he has the right to kill him.
History[]
Dr. Eggman, also known as Ivo Robotnik, is a mad scientist with the singular goal of world domination. As Sonic's arch-nemesis, he attempts to achieve this through his advanced robotics, massive mechs, and the exploitation of mystical artifacts like the Chaos Emeralds. Though they clash countless times, Eggman and Sonic are occasionally forced into reluctant alliances to prevent cataclysmic threats—sometimes resulting from Eggman's own actions—from destroying their world.
The Vale Saga[]
During their latest clash Eggman managed to rebuilt the ARK and planned to use the Chaos Emeralds to travel to a new world that would be revealed to be Remnant, dragging Sonic and the others with him.
Dr. Eggman makes his first appearance on Remnant when Blake confronts Roman Torchwick at the shipyard revealing that he allied himself with Roman and the White Fang by provided them with weapons he designed and promising them a place in his Empire.
During the Battle of Beacon he would lead his army along with the White Fang to conquer the Kingdom of Vale, destroy Beacon Academy, and help Salem and her followers obtain the Relic.
The Hunt for the Chaos Emeralds Saga[]
After his defeat after Super Sonic managed to wipe out his forces along with all of Vale’s Grimm, he returns to update Salem and the rest of her Faction where they discuss their next steps and plan to go after the Chaos Emeralds that are now scattered across Remnant.
