Dr. John Obson, also titled as both Doctor Obson and The Tsar of Russia, is the overarching antagonist of the 2024 horror fanfilm Bull and a minor character sequel Bull 2: Demon Horns.
He is the ruler of Russia while he is also a famous doctor and a secret satanist, as well as the one who asked for The Bull to be invented by scientists, overseen by Vladimir Tekerov. He is also Daniel Obson and Maximillian Bane's father, and the boss of the former as well as an enemy for the latter.
He is portrayed by Sean Connery in his first fanon role.
History[]
Dr. John Obson is a famous medical figure in Russia, as well as the father of Daniel Obson and the one who left him to live in Ukraine and changed his identity to Maximillian Bane. During the World War III, Obson became the Tsar of Russia and ruled it with an iron fist. Obson was secretly a Satanist. He ordered the creation of a Bull themed sentient weapon, which was meant to destroy humanity and reshape the entire world for Satan.
As an excuse, he makes a speech, explaining how humans abuse and mutilate cows too much. His creation was combined with millions of cow souls damned in Hell for no good reason. In other words, he was responsible for many of the fanfilm's events and he did some terrible actions in order to reshape the world.
Dr. Obson sent Vladimir Tekerov, the one who personally took care of the task of creating The Bull, to bring Maximillian Bane and his wife Liana to him or kill them if they resist. Vladimir succeeded on his mission and called The Tsar to take care of his intended victims. The Tsar came, but Vladimir had a sudden change of heart, caring for civilization and asking Obson not to dominate the world for Satan. The Tsar disagrees, but all of a sudden, The Bull ruins the electricity and Vladimir, concerned about his life and regretting his own misdeeds, Vladimir orders some guards to escort The Tsar to a safe area. As he returned to Russia, he discussed with a scientist called Khan Rummey about his world domination plans, ordering him to unleash the second form of the same Bull, which could lead to a global catastrophe.
After managing to accomplish his goal to revive the second form of The Bull, he starts deeply regretting his own actions, especially of how he abandoned his own son Maximillian Bane for his own sake and the cause he believed in. The Tsar appears meeting Azazel, who disgusied himself as Baron Harrison Cheese, and he finally managed to redeem himself, at the cost of being killed by Azazel, who ordered his guards to execute John.
Personality[]
Dr. John Obson used to be a honest man, but was very strict towards his family. After selling his soul to Satan to save many more cows from being butchered and mutilated, Obson became obsessed with his goals and his own survival, becoming a tyrannical person and not caring how many lives are at risk. He betrays humanity, showing that he doesn't care about anyone else, but only cares for himself and his own survival as a megalomaniacal Satanist. He is also very manipulative and harsh with his family, willing to sacrifice the life of his own son Maximillian Bane in order to finish his quests.
However, he still remains loyal to his cause of keeping cows out of harm, as this is why he became a sociopathic man.
