He is portrayed by Ben Mendelsohn. who also played as M.O.D.O.K from the same franchise.

History[]

Dr. Jonas Harrow was a mad scientist who experimented on many superhumans in order to gain power from it. He worked closely with the galactic tyrant Exodus, and was incharge of the experimental program, as well as finding Cable to continue his work. He was also the adoptive father of Maya Dayspring, as her real father was no other than the egomaniac Dr. Faustus. He raised her into becoming one of his workers and tasked her under Exodus' orders with the mission to lead Apocalypse to the location of the two missing infinity stones, so that Exodus can use the power of the three stones and lead the world to an ultimate apocalypse in which he is the last one standing. Dr. Harrow was called in by Exodus, as General Salaza told him to meet their boss during the night.

Meeting Exodus inside the facility, he is ordered to lead an operation which is meant to return Cable to being a test subject at their laboratory. Harrow took it seriously and promised to succeed in that task. However, before Dr. Harrow could do anything, Exodus decided to join in and change the goals into following Maya and Apocalypse without them noticing. Doctor Harrow and Exodus eventually caught up with Maya and Apocalypse, and the terrorists handed both Cable and Apocalypse over to Harrow so he could experiment them inside his lab. Exodus also managed to find the missing stones, as he went to the facility and started using the stone powers to cause an apocalypse, which would eventually destroy the entire Great Britain and leave France in chaos. Dr. Harrow in the meanwhile began to use his crystal which absorbed some of Apocalypse' powers. However, before he could finish his experiment, Maya shot him in the head.

Personality[]

Dr. Jonas Harrow was a deceiving and ruthless man of science. He was loyal to Exodus and he enjoyed himself while experimenting on others. He seemed to be power hungry, when he used a crystal to suck Apocalypse' powers, showing intent of gaining power through Exodus' reign of terror.

Jonas was intelligent, able to commit crimes in calculable ways. He manipulated Maya into working for him and thinking he is her father. However, his plans eventually backfired despite his cleverness.

Trivia[]

  • He is the first live action version of Dr. Harrow in the Marvel universe.
