I'm a scientist, and I do my job quite well. And I like to keep it that way.
~ Kureijī Sadisuto threatening Wade.

Fausuto "Faust" Renfīrudo, also known as Dr. Kureijī Sadisuto is a supporting antagonist in the Multiversal Legends franchise, serving as a minor antagonist in Multiversal Legends: Fallen Future, and a supporting antagonist in Pandora Hunters. He is a cybernetic scientist, a former Japanese Imperialist, and a member of the Carnage Circle and is Hevin Terst's right hand man and partner, he was recruited by Niklovich to assist Terst in his experiments and inventions.

He also has an alternative universe counterpart Faust Renfield, who's a Nazi instead of an imperialist.

History[]

Backstory[]

A mad scientist, occultist, turned serial killer seeking immortality; during World War II, he was a sadistic scientist during Imperialist Japan who kidnaps and experimented on people out of sadism and to learn many forms of pain. Fausuto goes to work with the Nazis to become a member of the the Thule Society where he conducts his sadistic experiments in supernatural creatures to weaponize for the Nazis, claimed he even once worked alongside with Josef Mengele himself. That was when he gained the name "Kureiji Sadisuto" meaning "Crazy Sadist" for due to his abhorrent personality.

After the war, he went into hiding where he led a string of murders and torture before being caught. Instead of being sent to prison as planned, Fausuto was sent to a government facility thanks to the likes of Jacob Nemsus. Being to help work on a project called the Pandora Project, a portal opening machine that makes rifts in reality so that he can bring Nekrozoth to the world. Due to a lab accident with a machine exploding, the dark energy fused his body with machinery and turn him into a derange cyborg.

The accident only made him worse, he convinced Jacob to enforce to robotizing countless soldiers for OmegaCorp and sell them for the black market. Putting victims brains in machines and sells them to other villains for the highest bitter.

One day, Niklovich, who contacted him through dark magic, came to him and offered him a position in the Carnage Circle which he accepted. He became the right hand man to the organization's left hand man, Hevin Terst, both worked together as top scientists of the organization and creating inventions of mass destruction.

Fallen Future - Part One[]

Sadisuto plays a minor role in Fallen Future - Part One. He assists Terst with spot checking Terst's newest creation of destruction, the Chasm. Sadisuto queries what the Chasm does, and Terst responds by explaining that the Chasm builds up potent plasmic energy to scorch and destroy anything in its path. Sadisuto produces a slightly psychotic chuckle at the thought of that.

Personality[]

Sadisuto, as his name implies, is an insane sadistic scientist with utter lack of empathy towards any living creature. He takes pleasure in cruelly experimenting on innocent people when ordered to by either Hevin or Niklovich himself, recording every exact detail on the torture and pain his victim goes through. He also has a more business partner relationship with Terst, only talking to him if anything like their science experiments ordered by Niklovich or their criticizing their experiments. He is far more sadistic than Hevin however, as Terst isn't as overtly sadistic like Sadisuto, and is also a lot more spiteful and petty than him which is a fatal flaw of his. He is rather abusive towards his genetic experimental creatures for minor reasons, like a small accident or just failing to do something simpler. His pettiness tends to make him commit rash decision, being pointlessly spiteful towards his foes and sometimes his allies.

Shown by his criminal record and documents on his past, he was always a psychopathic sadist and cruel scientist before his transformation into a derange cyborg, thus has no sympathetic backstory or excuse for his actions.

Appearance[]

Sadisuto wears a white labcoat with a white apron on, and has a black monocle, wears black gloves and black boots. He has deathly pale skin, black hair, and has blues eyes along a scar on his left eye. He also has robotic right leg and right arm that produce light blue energy, and wears a mechanical mask that helps him breath (it's hinted that his universe has different oxygen than Earth).

Trivia[]

  • His name is Japanese for "Crazy Sadist", which is fitting to his personality.
  • It is said that Sadisuto enjoys watching a film called Martyrs due to its gore and psychological torture themes in the films.
