Dr. McMadic is a pivotal character of the Doctor Lalve YouTube channel, serving as the main antagonist of Fabulous Spook, an overarching antagonist in Spooktacular 2 and a deuteragonist in Spooktacular 3.

He is a mad scientist who used to make experiments to learn some sort of magic that would grant him power over life and death until he was defeated and handed to the authorities by the Anti-Spook Squad, whom he would do social labor to until he usurped Engenieer the First's place as CEO of Tiny Desk Corporation while framing the latter's death as a tragic accident.

Biography[]

Early Life[]

Dr. McMadic started his career by trying to get magical powers. In order to do so, he murdered the wizard Merasmus, stole many of his records and began making experiments with ghosts in a mansion in hopes of discovering a magic that would grant him power over the living and the dead.

Fabulous Spook[]

Dr. McMadic is discovered by the Anti-Spook Squad as the one behind the mansion's hauntings due to his experiments. He recites magical words to summon ghosts that grab the "low-budget ghostbusters ripoffs" as he tries to ressurect Merasmus' corpse using his Ubercharge. However, the corpse unexpectedly disappears instead of coming back to life, allowing the Squad to arrest him.

Spooktacular[]

After being faulty accused of criminal dealings with the Devil he was forced to do social labor to the very ones who foiled his plans, until he usurped Engenieer the First, framed the latter's demise as an accident and took his place as the CEO of Tiny Desk Corporation.

Spooktacular 2 - The Episode Three[]

Dr. McMadic is seen answering a phone call from the Anti-Spook Squad who explains that they have the cursed Half-Life 3 case and that it is affecting the soldier. He thus decides to launch a nuke at the "Ghostbusters ripoffs" in order to destroy them along with the cursed product.

Spooktacular 3 - Tiny Desk Catastrophe[]

Dr. McMadic is informed by Mr. Monitor that they've lost another Engineer and that it could negatively affect their finances. He prompts suicide but is reassured by his right hand that they've managed to follow the tracks of the monster that killed the employee and send a small security squad of spies to investigate. However, the spies end up killing themselves out of sheer stupidity and incompetence while the leader is taken and eaten by the monster. After that, Mr. Monitor suggests that they contact the Anti-Spook Squad due to them being a cheap group whose deaths would bother nobody if everything went wrong.

A chopper is then sent to take the low-budget ghostbusters expies to the corporation's entrance which stood on a volcano on a remote island. Upon their arrival, Dr. McMadic casually greets the squad by jumping from the balcony, seemingly falling to his demise, when he suddenly reappears flying with his jet boots and landing stylishly before them.

As they take the elevator down to the company's grounds, the Spy bluntly says to Dr. McMadic that he doesn't trust him, only for the latter sarcastically reassure him that nothing will happen to him with crossed fingers.

After a tour through the facility, they arrive at the crime scene where there are several baguettes left by the dead Spies of the security squad. Before Spy could ask him what was that, Dr. McMadic suddenly vanishes and tells them through a speaker to go investigate.

Much later, after escaping from the creature with the help of the Drunk Exorcist Demoman and hiding in a room filled with skeletons, the squad calls Dr. McMadic and Spy questions him what were those skeletons. Mr. Monitor explains that those were early drafts of the Tiny Desk Engineer made by the deceased Engineer the First. Dr. Medic then reminds them that they must kill the creature when suddenly the call is cut short and the Tiny Desk Bot prototypes of the Tiny Desk Corporation Experimentation Program are activated and begin to kill anyone in sight. After being told by Mr. Monitor that only the CEO (him) can deactivate the program or they would lose more finances, Dr. McMadic makes his way by destroying hordes of Tiny Desk Bots with his technological weaponry.

Upon arriving at the control room, he unlocks a series of mechanisms and plays the entire campaign of Skyrim to activate the Emergency Shutdown but instead it reveals a monitor showing the face of no one else other than Engineer the First himself, who had uploaded his soul in to the facility's systems prior to his demise. Dr. McMadic is completely stunned upon seeing his predecessor who says that he already expected he would conspire to usurp him, points several heavily armed turrets to the scientist and tries to negotiate with him to think carefully what will he do next with the company. Dr. McMadic promptly refuses the offer and proceeds to overpower Engineer the First and his turrets with his weapons.

After the Anti-Spook Squad successfully defeats the creature, the scientist pays them one dollar for their service and bids them farewell... only for later another Engineer be lured and killed by the creature that actually survived while Engineer the First's digital ghost is still out there.

Personality[]

Dr. McMadic is extremely sadistic, eccentric and greedy, viewing his Engineer employees as an unlimited source of riches while showing no care towards their well-being unless it affects his gains. He's also very melodramatic, petty and childish as he prompted to commit suicide because one of his Engineers died and this negatively affected his finances. In the beginning, he shows an unhealthy and unhinged obsession for learning some sort of magic that would give him power over life and death. He also has a very dark sense of humor.
