Dr. Moist is a supporting antagonist in Loud House: King in Yellow the sequel to Revival a crossover between The Loud House and the Cthulhu Mythos.

Biography[]

Prior[]

Dr. Moist was born trillions of years ago being apart of a race of six-foot tall barrel-shaped extraterrestrials known as the Elder Things. The Elder Things were highly advanced with several of their civilizations being underground. While their behavior is completely alien to humans, they are understood to be scientists by design and are credited with seeding life on Earth.

However, one of their creations regarded a race of amorphous beings known as the Shoggoths. Originally meant to be a servant race, they rebelled against their creators and waged war for billions of years. Dr. Moist takes note of his race's continued creation of the Shoggoths and suggest that they, in turn, create a breed of Elder Things and train them to be super soldiers. However, when he approached the council about his plan, he was laughed out.

Enraged, Dr. Moist creates a genetic bomb and destroys his civilization with it to break their genetic makeup down to the tiniest molecule. With the original Elder Things eradicated, Dr. Moist waited for the creation of mankind and slowly integrated himself into it. Through some undisclosed year, he killed a random man and modified the outer skin and wore it as a disguise. From there, he lured people into his research facility under false claims of helping them with their ailments. However, he would actually inject them with the serum containing the DNA of the Elder Things which would horrifically mutate the test subject ultimately leading to them dying their bodies getting stored away.

Present day[]

While going through the woodwork, Dr. Moist is met by the Great Old One Hastur who offers him a partnership; if Moist helped Hastur take over the world, the Great Old One, in turn, would provide Moist with endless amounts of test subjects to experiment on. Accepting the deal, Dr. Moist does some research into Royal Woods, Michigan, and learns about Lisa Loud and her project for an upcoming science fair. Seeing that it was a device that could transmit visuals worldwide, he arrives to the Loud family house and suggests her becoming an apprentice under him.

However, when she realized what he was secretly planning, Dr. Moist reveals his true colors after showing disgust towards Lisa for her human compassion, threatening to keep her alive for a hundred years and experiment on her.

As the Loud family join forces with Cthulhu and Yog-Sothoth, the Loud kids subdue the mad doctor in an attempt to force him to confess who it was he was working for. Dr. Moist initially believes himself to be too smart for the family but unwittingly reveals that Hastur told him. As punishment for him exposing his master's name, Dr. Moist's tongue is psychically rolled out of his mouth until the tongue completely wrapped itself into a tight knot around his neck and breaks it.
